  • Eaten my HM pizza and put the rest of the pizza dough in the freezer to use next week. I have also made myself a packed lunch for work (sandwiches, mini cheddars, fruit and a chocci biscuit) might also take a flask of coffee with me. We do have brew making facilities at work but since im on my own after 5pm I dont get chance to nip out to the kitchen to make 1 (means I would have to lock the shop up)

Right - so that is three of us starting a spending diary on Tuesday (1st March) Anyone else want to join us?
Had a walk to shop for food - walked back with neighbour and caught up on news.

If it brightens up might transfer some washing outside.

Yep, I'll join in, got some serious money management to sort out.

    Right so far I have

    wm x1

    dw x 1

slowcooker stew in and cooking away.

Disgusting food bin cleaned and disinfected, disgusting soup that was, yet again, forgotton about, binned, also other mouldy food I've discovered...

Finances looked at and debt added up, better than I thought but not brilliant so a plan is forming.;)

Chickens taken for a walk to our little local green area where they are happily mooching away for a few hours until I collect them. A friend has a allotment come smallholding there and he has chickens and geese so they're in good company....its like Barbados for chickens.:rotfl:

Need to finish off some financial stuff and then get the food ready for tonight as I'm doing the food for a friends birthday party.

A mezze kind of thing, oh and I need to dress like a pirate ...I have a limp ala Long John Silver but not sure how else to become pirateish.:D

    Right best head on.

Thanks AnWs Mum, my main problems is more when I am at home and online, as it is so easy to buy stuff with a click or 2 and then when I get the credit card bill wonder why its for so much:( a little book with all my 'spends' would at least keep track of what I bought.

I can't remember where I heard it, but, a tip I heard was to work out how much you want/can afford to spend in a week/month and get the cash out on a particular day/date, then dont get any more out until the next week/month. This only works if you have shops you actually go to, in my case shops are a long way and online shopping is cash free, so it doesn't help me. Although having said that we have a kitty for bread and milk so that we don't have to do a minimum £5 spend for using the plastic.

Rather pleased today, cleared a hot spot that is a magnet for stuff and put a chair in the space, so that should keep that bit clutter free.:j

DH is fitting rain water tub that we bought a couple of months ago, every time it rained recently I said - shame we haven't got the tub connected we are losing all that water:rotfl:

Ask youself one day later if you still need / want it..:p;)
then leave for one week.. if you still need it then, you may then treat yourself..:D

I will also join in with a spending diary!!! Seems to be a good plan, have spent ages this morning switching elecy and gas providers 'cos Eon had somehow not collected DD for 3 months and then wanted £300 all at once :eek::eek::eek::eek: and then wanted to put our monthly charge up to £135 :eek::eek::eek: so have switched to B'gas which will be £85 ish per month:beer: much better, Have been meaning to switch for ages but this gave me the impetus to get on with it!!!!

    Need to;
put away ironing and folded washing in bedroom
    re arrange bedroom furniture
dust dining room (did LR yesterday but ran out of steam!!)
put up shelves for OH (but DD in bed still as on nights so need to do that later)
Do some school work (if I get round to it!!! Got students teaching my class for 2/52 when we get back so nothing urgent)
    Get washed and dressed (LOL)
    Clean and tidy the kitchen

    hmmm that'll do for now

    off I go.....................................:A:A
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

toots Grrr. I leave Scotland to try and get to Egypt. End up in Paris - rain and cold. Now back in London. Rain and cold. Probably balmy in Strathblane. Law of sod.

Doing some flying preparation. List for A**a on the way home from airport to save on petrol. Will ring DH and ask for a rundown on the fridge tomorrow so I know exactly what I need.

Writing lists, lists and more lists of what I need to do when I get home (while watching rugby) Multi-tasking. I love it:rotfl:

Green ones are best to start, they are not too thin and the corners are cut off so they 'roll' easier.

Try a machine roller, I couldn't get on with one, but my friend swears by hers. Also try filters, they stop you 'eating' the tobacco, and you dont use so much.;)

Keep the ciggies thinner than a 'tailor made', and practise, practise...
