    Morning All

First week flying and my do I feel good about it. Even managed to fit in getting my nails done and a massage this week which I would never normally have the time to do considering I work 7 days a week.

Already this morning, swept kitchen floor, mopped office floor, hung out washing, towels in WM, had a shower, made breakfast (don't normally have time for this) washed dishes and cleaned kitchen, listed ebay items, put out rubbish/recycling.

Now off to take DS to a party and them working this afternoon but feel good knowning my house is shining.

:jHave a great day everyone xxx:j

Having gone through a mega panic stage when I thought my all important "list so far", together with everyone's lunch orders was at work rather than home .......... phew, discovered in bottom of work bag, I have now written lists to rival Toots. :)

Fruit cake in oven, towels not on line owing to wet stuff descending from sky. Oh, and I think OH may be about to declutter himself from his bed - maybe I can start clattering around now!

    Morning lovelies
Ive been doing my finances and I really need to do a food budget and stick to it, I have no idea as to what I spend a month on food, but what I do know is that during the month of February £1062.27 has slipped through my fingers!!! Now your not telling me thats how much Ive spent on food/cigs/petrol!!! I need to get a grip, no wonder im skint!

Ah, now I do know tha answer to that question! With due thanks to the brilliant people on Debt Free Wannabe, get yourself a spending diary!

Any small notebook will do, but I find one which has an elastic band around it is best, as then I can slip in receipts, and not lose them.
Write down every single thing you spend on, for a month, before you start on trying to trim.

I've just decided that I need to do this again, as I'm also getting through large amounts of cash with nothing very much to show for it - although that's probably having three expensive offspring!

:hello:Morning to all my flylady friends! I have masses to do today, so off to get petrol and some shopping in a minute. Then, need to spend most of the day on school stuff.

Mrs B - sorry to read your news, love and hugs, and you will be in my thoughts. Take a deep breath, dump everything that's not essential, and accept all offers of help.

Ian - Can't add anything to what has already been said. Still thinking of Diva, and all of you.

    dusty
    - regrettably, not in France - OH has used up all his leave until April, so we won't go until then. I am going with a school party for five days from 7th March. Had a good chunk of time in the garden yesterday, and have filled the large garden bag three times...front garden now pretty much finished. I need to think about a bit of replanting out there....
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
  • Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Life is quite frantic with my course and job. Trying to keep up with flying and managing not too bad overall

    Anyway Living Room - done!

    Later on BR and bathroom

Hope everyone is ok and bobbing along nicely

I've languished the hoover about the LR and tidied up, underneath the settees and it's cushions was the city of grot :o think I've hoovered up it's entire royal family and it's citizens. it looks heaps better now and I haven't even mopped/polished or done the windows yet and if I was really bothered I'd leather clean the settees but I'm not.

Got ten ton of 'stuff' to move upstairs now...

OH taking DS10 shopping in town - boys day out. I'm recovering from my Greek food girls' night in last night - OH says we were shrieking like hysterical banshees and is now calling us Ceridwen's Coven! Had a great night in and we're already planning the next one. Flying during the last two weeks has made me so much happier to invite people round so hoorah for flying!

Hall windowsil been cleared and wiped and window washed (i can't remember the last time it was done :o).
Kids all playing games or watching tv and it's lovely outside so i think it's time to kick them out. :D

    List to be done now
    1) clear DD's bed of clothes and junk
    2) strip our bed
    3) clean front door inside and out
    4) hoover hall and wipe skirting
    5) declutter under cot and bedroom floor

that should keep me busy for a little while.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Boy am I cross, I have just been listing on ebay for about 1 hour, and been logged in and listing on my exoh's account, he asked me to list on his account for him some stuff which is at the house and I agreed, and am sure I logged off his account and on to mine, so just cancelled all items, once I have calmed down a bit about wasting my own time, I will start again...........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Toots~~ yes OH is over his diving accident, but he will have some scars for life on his right arm and leg, but he was so luck, best of all the insurance company will pay out this week, they would have paid out last week or the week before, but OH gave them incorrect bank details!!! I offered to help! he now says he will do open water diving only in the future, this is after he said he will never dive again, so I wait and watch this spot, but he is not likely to dive till next hols in December anyway, and a lucky bonus for me to make sure he does not dive, is all his diving gear is else where in the world, so he cannot easily get to it.

OK I think ive managed to sort out my finances. I have decided I am giving myself a weekly budget of £150. I will need to do a weekly meal plan and shop at Aldi/lidl. Hopefully this is do able and hopefully after afew weeks I will be able to reduce this further. Ive also decided that the cigs have got to go £5.11 a packet x 7 = £35.77 a week  Going to roll my own (hum should be fun)

On the flying front I need to :-

    • get rid of paperwork ive thrown all over the coffee table
    • [STRIKE]unload dishwasher[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]reload dishwasher[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]load WM[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]unload TD[/STRIKE] will iron it all later when get back from work
    • wipe down kitchen work top
    • [STRIKE]take mince out of freezer so its defrosted by morning[/STRIKE]
AND I NEED TO GET ALL THAT DONE BEFORE 2.45

Best get my bum in gear
