    Hi all

This is Ian, MOney Saving Divas OH

I am sorry this message has been a while coming but life has been a little hectic and upside down to say the least.

Thank you to everyone who thought of MSD on the 18th and wore purple. It was such a lovely tribute to Sonja.

Everyone who attended said that the service was lovely and just what she would have wanted which was a great comfort to me.

    Thank you all once again.

    Ian

You're very welcome; pop by any time :A

Mudbath - I'm giving your infection a very hard stare :D

  • Good morning all,
I need to do major de-cluttering all round the house in order for the levels to start the hoped for spiral effect. I must stop thinking and start doing.
Off I go to start DOING something,
Hugs and/or hi 5s to those who need or want them, Silver x

    Morning all

It's been raining all night here.

Last swimming lesson here for Miss A and W then they are off to active kids this afternoon, just a usual casual weekend here :rotfl:

Sunnygirl sorry to hear the news about your Dad, you are all in my thoughts. It sounds like your mum is in denial about it all at the moment which is understandable.

jjef I am thinking of you and yours as well.

Ian thanks for posting, I am glad the service went well and hope you managed to find memories to smile about on such a sad day.

Toots it's just typical on the day you plan to lie in isn't it!I hope you get the chance to nap later. Now I hope you are sitting down, Miss A and I are going to try and list some of the things she no longer wants so tha tshe can get some dosh for new cushions for her bedroom :D

Sorry, just have not had time to read back, so will probably not be seen to be as thoughtful and caring as I should be.

Managed to achieve my low level flying this week - including my Friday evening session of changing bed/towels/dog beds, etc, etc ...... so not major flying but kept things ticking over.

Unfortunately DH's aunt died unexpectedly and suddenly in the early hours of Thursday morning and everything has been somewhat chaotic and head cluttering since - PM yesterday and results 'not OK' although fortunately they have released the body for the funeral on Friday.

I hope this doesn't sound selfish (it's not intended, it's just the practical side of me taking over) but next weekened is my side business' first major booking ever - probably 5-10x bigger than anything I've done before, and I have now lost my whole day before of baking prep. Today's first job is to re-write all my lists and try to work out how I can do everything I need to make this work successful - preferably without pulling an all-nighter.

I may not be 'allowed' to post much this week as I can see flying being reduced. Mind you, that mucky kitchen floor is currently bugging me, and the threatened "rain all day" doesn't seem to be here yet, so maybe the towels can start drying outside.

Might start a fruit cake - at least that will benefit from being made a week in advance.

Ok all of upstairs is done.

    Wm x 2 is on
    TD is on

Toast and tablets now being taken, I cannot get use to having to take tablets at the same time as eating, suppose I'll get use to it as I'm in for the long haul with this. (any excuse to sit for at least 10 mins, and see what you are all up to)

Now chucking it down again, was going to go something in the garden later, like weeding...so guess I'll have to find some more stuff to list on ebay! :D

OH has been finally accepted for the Great North Run,:j:j:j he was declined in his own right, but now has a place for Macmillan cancer which he is pleased about, now he has to start his training for this.

Morning All. Well I ended up doing some of the mending last night. Managed to avoid the oven again (insert sneaky smilie here). So list for weekend:
    Dailies
    Oven
Jigsaw book (it has now been out to do for 2 weeks)
    Doormats.

    Onwards and upwards. x
