I've just seen this on a friends FB status:

Slob Top Tip: Always keep a few 'Get Well Soon' cards on the mantlepiece. When unexpected visitors arrive you can tell them that you've not been well and that's why the house is untidy. (Viz)

Tesco order for DD2's birthday done and 500 extra points claimed. Thank you MSE weekly email :j. I've also ordered the balloons and gas for DH's party. I'm trying to order a birthday banner but every time I load the photo the site crashes. Very frustrating!

WM x 2, TD x 1. Little ones breakfasted. Asthma medication and cough medicine administered.

The weather looks rather grey here in Essex. At least we had a wonderful sunny day yesterday.:)

Morning all, kids up fed and dressed. Wm on for first load of today, dw will go on in a minute.

Need to lift DD bike today and then have meeting at school at 3, DS only gave me the letter yesterday and it's dated the 3rd.

Todays rooms that need done are the bathroom and hall. I'll give the walls another coat when i get back and then the ceiling then the bathroom can get done. I'll get the woodfiller put in too and hopefully the skirting can be done tomorrow. So busy, busy, busy today.:rotfl:Just hope i get it all done. :o
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Downstairs is still looking pretty good, and I've had it with housework for the week. :) I'm going out with a friend later ....ridiculously exciting for a grown woman to be so excited about a ''play date''....aka shopping trip...especially as I have no spending money so it will be window shopping!

This weekend though, DH and I have vowed to sort out the box room and the ''dog room''.....which the dogs can't use as its full of unsorted ''junk'' from the move. I'm also going to get him to sort out his bedside cupboard tonight. :) That's plenty for the weekend, especially as for the first timein weeks I'm not asking him to hoover and I feel like a better housewife. :)

  • i think I'm going to cry with tiredness today! OH snored so loudly! I could hear him from the lounge!

DS dispatched to work, DD2 woken - i must get her up soon - she should be catching up on homework but has decided to go into town with a mate.:mad: She has a party tonight.

Looks like she will be working on Sunday night:mad::mad:.

I know she was ill at the beginnning of the week...........but.........

DD1 into town to meet people from the mE course today in costa. Half term in york? Perhaps not a great idea!

Why do kids commitments have to clash?

    Morning all

    Plan for today:

    Hoover downstairs
    mop downstairs
    Deep clean of DS1's room
Friend for a cuppa late afternoon
    HHP

Starting with laundry and then off to the shower.

    Morning all

Another grey day here so far, after the nice cheery sunshine yesterday. Plan for today:

    Wash hair
Round 3 with Small Cat (she stayed around the house until late last night)
    Finish bathroom
    hoover LR
more laundry (DH has kindly left me the ironing this week)
Call at school to collect stuff
    School work
    Cook tea
Investigate MSE e-mail for Tesco bonus (thanks for the reminder, Mumto5)
    Entertain DS2

Hope everyone has a good Friday. x
