This is true, I ordered 3 thin crust pizza's for £5.. they sent 2 thick crust and knocked £1-50 off..I won't be doing another on-line shop with them.

When I was off from recovering from an operation - I couldn't drive and ordered a Mr T shop.

Ordered 4 tins of chopped tomatoes as they were 4 for £1. Got instead 4x 4 multipacks of tinned tomatoes instead.

Then wanted to have 3 packs of mince part of an offer at the time. Got 3 double packs of mince.

I was very happy as I always make a spag bol or chilli each week.

Only just discovered this thread!

This was a couple of years ago now but I ordered a piece of fresh fennel and got...30+ jars of Fennel Seeds. It was Sainsbury's so not price matched and some £40 more expensive than the fennel bulb I'd ordered.

Not sure who was more embarrassed, the woman I spoke to at Sainsbury's who couldn't believe the mistake, or me, for having a husband that had accepted them as a substitute.

A few week ago I needed a new pair of kitchen scissors, needless to say out of stock so instead they subbed with blu-tac. Not much use when cutting up stuff. I'd love to see them try. I always get odd substitutes, me and the drivers are always having a laugh at the door. Daughters easter egg was out of stock (4th week in a row) so they sent me 32 mini bags of Haribo instead. Didn't even look remotely like an easter egg. Poor girl!
