Thanks. I normally get the cheapest AA/RAC for about £28 then get the £20-odd cashback for the lowest level cover. I only have the one where if i break down away from home they tow me to a garage. It sounds like these two are the full monty. They obviously are better value than the more expensive AA/RAC cover but I'm after lower cover I think. Thanks for explaining though, worth a look in the future.
Yep - definitely the full monty offerings. If you only drive very locally I think it can work to have the cover you have. As I drive around 50 miles a day for work, plus do drive places which are several hundred miles away to visit family and friends etc, I would not want to be towed to a random garage. I prefer to go home so that I can use the garage I trust, and not be stranded. For example my car broke down last year on the way home from work. Only about 8 miles from home but I would not have wanted to go to a garage 6 miles from home (there is one) and be stuck then with a 6 mile walk in the dark as they could not fix the car that evening.

Have you checked the cashback on providers like green flag? I know they are on quidco so assume they are on TCB too.

I've not had the worlds best money saving day. I am just feeling too ill and sorry for myself.

I did use up a leftover beefburger in a tomato pasta sauce today rather than get some more meat out the freezer.

No onepoll for me today - there was a link to another site to get 50p but it didn't work for me.

I have also spent a fortune at the supermarket, and £10 on new school t shirts for my little one as his looked really old and bobbly.

The only constructive thing is i wrote a DY review for 30p.:o

Never mind. Tomorrow is a new day.
