  • It would need to be more than £100 to tempt me Giraff. Have you read some of the horror stories on the budgeting & banking board ?

    Santander have been great for me. I've been with them a year and no problems whatsoever. I got the £100 payout quite soon too. Think there's horror stories whatever bank you choose tbh. I'm going to go with FD when I've applied for the next mortgage

    Mummalove - Thank you. I got my £3 referral fee credited to Funky pigeon. I'll choose something again later now! :D

    * Dinner at Mum's Monday and ate out of Freezer Tues, Weds and tonight

    * Caught up on favourite progs on iplayer on work-charged-laptop

    * Checked Halifax Clarity Card balance - at £303 so stopped spending on that now I've earned the next reward and switched my spending to a points earning Credit Card until next statement period

    *MPG OCD

    * Bought a book for Mothers Day using an old giftcard that was still in date :D

    * Used the 50% off code for the Body Shop (SPRING50) and got a total of 60% off with loyalty card and also earned 12% cashback which has tracked - spent A LOT but saved even more and now have stock of foundation and moisturiser for ages. I didn't buy any 'Treats'. Oh and I paid for it on Tesco Credit Card - so clubcard points earned too

    * Free Lunch at work

    * Charged Mobile at work

    * Showering this week (Which I HATE) rather than bathing to save putting the gas on

    * Sorted out 2 bags of stuff for Charity Shop - not exactly MFW but that and the programme of spring cleaning I'm doing makes me feel more saintly :A

    * Found out am getting a little bonus from work - worked out how much I could use as an OP on 1st and how much needed to go into Instant savings to boost flagging balance

    Am sooo tired :(. Today we have:
    * had our remortgage go through, instantly saving £200pm in interest :D
    * called old mortgage company immediately and confirmed over £1100 to come back to us in next 10 days
    * worked hard at work
    * charged phone at work
    * sorted through DD's toys and have some to sell (most are for charity shop though). Most importantly her room is tidy and clean again :D.
    * hm soup for lunch, although not sure what's happening for dinner and I want chips!
    * have mr t delivery about to come (have family tomorrow and need to be ready to entertain). Decided to tick the deliver with no bags option to earn a few extra points - although we have ordered £68 worth, may regret that decision :rotfl:!
    * er, that's it!
