Mine's due next month.

Hi Linz,
http://www.topcashback.co.uk/autonational_breakdown_cover/ is autonational who Martin has on his list I think. They are part of the same company that do the autoaid policy. They have an internet deal of £66 for 15 months cover (plus 17-odd% TCB cashback). This is the equivalent of the £200-ish AA/RAC.
Even better value for money is Autoaid (Martin definitely recommends them as I got the details from him). You pay £37 a year for you and your spouse (must be a proper spouse not live-in lover) to get the same top level cover as the £200-ish AA stuff or the £66 Autoaid. They put you in touch with local companies when you break down. If you breakdown, you have to pay for the recovery truck/tow to the garage etc, then you send off the receipt and a claim form and they send you a refund cheque. So, you need to have a credit card to be able to pay the bill, and to be organised enough to make the claim.
I use autoaid, did the pay and reclaim and it was fairly easy and painless.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0 -
Thanks. I normally get the cheapest AA/RAC for about £28 then get the £20-odd cashback for the lowest level cover. I only have the one where if i break down away from home they tow me to a garage. It sounds like these two are the full monty. They obviously are better value than the more expensive AA/RAC cover but I'm after lower cover I think. Thanks for explaining though, worth a look in the future.#39 - Save £12k in 20250

I use Autonational Rescue also. They are fab - they use local contractors so never take very long to come out. Been with them for years - although not at the moment as have new car with breakdown inc. - but come April - will be going back to Autonational Rescue again!:T

Hello everyone
- Bought sainsburys basics wipes at 18p so that i can use these to clean sticky hands and faces and save the more expensive ones for nappy changing....we seem to go through loads of wipes as we have two in nappies...so hopefully this will save a few pounds. Has anybody tried the basics or value range of nappies...i havent tried them and am wondering are they really awful?
- Went to lidl to stock up on some wine at £2.50 a bottle....which i am currently drinking
- Visited my aunt today and she made us lunch and sent us home with some free range eggs :j
- Resisted the temptation to buy new jeans
- Have been trying to eat healthier and have cut out junk foods...so should save a few pounds on grocery bill and improve the waistline

Wabl -I've not tried the Mr S ones - I believe the Lidls ones are good though. I get pampers (the best ever!) from Amazon on their subscribe and save offer. e.g 100 x size 4 =£9.99 so maybe £2 a pk more than the basics? Not sure what size you're after. Free delivery, they come the next day http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pampers-Simply-Size-Midi-Nappies/dp/B003P2UU3W/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I2WTO362ON186H&colid=3T4W6S1WBG49W HTHI can't be bothered updating this anymore0

Think that's it for today.
This weekend I plan on getting food to last just the week as i'm away for 2 weeks at end of the month. I want to make some more home made meat & potato pasties for the freezer as the ones I made a few weeks ago were yum#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -
