    :wave: Hello I'm new here but thought this looked like it might be motivational for me!

    Today I walked to Tesco to get my lunch to last for 2 days (Soup and a baguette). Also bought a box of cereal to have for breakfast at work.
    Parked off road to save car park and got exercise for free walking to station.
    Did NOT buy the Cosmo magazine staring at me through the window with the lovely freebies on it!
    Used free tea, coffee and milk provided at work.

    :D
    Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
    Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

    Hi Juliebunny - not sure I can welcome you as I'm fairly new too, but yes it's a great motivational thread! Finally a bit more back on track (unfortunately due to delays in work coming in...). I have:
    • made dinner (quorn and chickpea curry) from stuff in cupboard at home to take to house to eat tonight (no fridge or freezer there at moment and eating fresh pasta/pizza gets expensive and repetitive!)
    • £1 VO survey
    • 25p YG survey
    • Swagbucks clicks
    • Received £2 of Capital Bonds vouchers in post that I'd forgotten about :)
    • Some MySurvey surveys
    • Free ebay listings done yesterday
    • Maximiles survey too - just need 330 points to get another £10.00 voucher (this is already allocated for wedding fund though)
    • GFK TV survey bonus £2 survey :T
    So, all-in-all feeling that the small things are going my way today!

    * heating is off despite being cold and feeling a little sorry for myself
    * charged mobile at work
    * left overs from yesterday for dinner and froze another portion from same meal
    * received Quidco payment for £23, of which £20 was a claim I'd chased for months and months -hurrah!!, the rest were check-ins, most of which are for 0.25p each......I look like I have some kinda weird freaky thing going on in my local shopping centre zigzagging all over the place walking in and out of stores.......every penny counts!
    * YouGov Oracle survey
  • I have

    - walked to work, brought a packed lunch
    - phone is getting charged
    - bought an apple tree from T&M with their £10 gift voucher. So, had to pay only £2.49 + P&P. Hoping to have enough apples in a few years' time :-)

    Today I have:
    - redeemed a £10 VO voucher
    - withdrawn £6.10 from TCB
    - done Swagbucks clicks

    Yesterday evening we ate the store cupboard curry with defrosted potato waffles that had been festering in the turned-off fridge at our house - turned out surprisingly well, although OH did think it an odd combination! (He has a lot to learn, we don't live together yet!! *mwa haha*)

  • I turned my heating off at home, took left overs to work for lunch, charged mobile at work, attended seminar for a free lunch (so put leftovers in work fridge for tomorrow)... did three surveys on VO, redeemed ConsumerPulse voucher, applied for 2 jobs during break (I need to shorten my commute to reduce money spent on fuel). And this evening I need to parcel up some ebay items I've sold, go to the gym (already made my membership money back versus pay as I go) and do a DIY manicure (saving £8).
    But the best one... £12 OP today!
