Hi all, I'd like to join in too please-is a great idea and more suitable for me than the threads where people are paying off £30k a year from their mortgage (impossible for me!). So far today I have had leftovers for second time this week for lunch and upped my monthly overpayment by £50. Now off to find somewhere to put my 'saved' little bits of cash......
    Credit cards: April 2009-£1800, 1 March 2010-£0 :j
    Car: June 2009-£500, March 2010-£200 September 2010-£0
    Mortgage-October 2009-£134, 290.64. February 2010=£133,854. January 2011-£131, 718.74
  • - My second ever regular overpayment went in today.
    - Looking forward to pasta bake for dinner - I made one last week when we had people over and also made an extra to freeze. With any luck there will be some left over for lunch tomorrow too.

    Today:
    • Recently I bought some cube furniture for the DDs bedroom and then got very cross when I found out that the cube holes aren't standard size. The cheapest ones I could find to fit them were £17 each, and I need 8! So today I covered strong cardboard boxes with lots of pretty wrapping paper to make my own cube drawers. They're not very professional, but they were a labour of love, and they are at least unique! And cheap - total cost £24.50 for the lot, including glue and sellotape.
    • I made chicken noodle soup tonight with sugar snap peas and coriander from the garden. Pudding was strawberries from the pick-your-own farm we went to yesterday. Yumm.
