Annie56 aww hun, i'm so sorry to hear about your and monty's loss. I suffered an horrendous miscarriage two years ago and its was horrible. ((hugs))
Its great how your all looking into the future so positively and hope the house and land goes through for the three of you. How cute of lucy raking her little patch awww

    Oi mar gis it back!!!
Just had to put the bloody heating on, two days a in pigging row!!!!
Come on its freezing down here!

We pay £92 for gas and electricity via DD, cheers EDF for ripping us off!
Just hope the weather warms up so i can switch the heating so i can balance the books again.

Ah well what a day, ended up putting the heating on up to 20 (well till it heats up then back down again)as i switched the thermostat down to 16, so about 12/13 eveywhere else in the house. Boys had little red noses, awww.

Anyways looked in the cupboards for pasta and guess what we have none
Since when have we ever rant out of pasta and pots? Something's gone wrong. Ah well so were eating rice and couscous for the next few days:o. Can't bear to go shopping.

But ont he god news front, coddy (DS2) has finally got the hand of sitting and balancing on his bike. Only took us three months to convince him to sit on it. ;) But he's off! So hopefully over the few days he might be ready to ride by himself with one of us beside him. Its a big step in his development, so hopefully this help with his hypermobilty. but his shoes have falling apart, so may have to buy him some tomorrow, if i can't find the superglue.

Spent the day cooking warm food and bread, after i burnt the last lot of bread. But i decided in true os stylings to make bread and butter pudding, its was lush.
    Here's the recipe

I just omitted the orange zest and only a sprinkling of dried fruits and my lot don't like them.

Right cuppa time as i'm freezing.

I went through it three times and eventually had our youngest(17) but please don't make my mistake and be so brave for everyone else that you don't grieve.

My FIL said not to put him through that again ( the first time) but DH had just told him on the phone an ambulance came for me and it did not look good so he had spent 24 hours thinking I was going to die.It wasnt till I got home the next day and phoned him he realised I was all right and our DDs were not going to be without a mother'!

2nd good buy-me and my cook book obession.Might be best pound I spent in ages!

its a childs cookbook ie: ideas for kids meals.
But do find these kind of books have cheap simple and quick recipies adults could eat too so great for inspiration.

Also find older publications late 90,s and before much more frugal.
Think last 10years cookbooks have becomemorefancy.complex withlots of expensive ingrediants quite refreshing to find some new recipies.

Dropped eldest off at birthday party.used recycled present as she got 3of the same for her birthday so was cheap.

Something rather worrying happened today: got home this evening and was getting stuff out of the back of the car when I noticed my little "door" to the petrol cap wasn't flush with the bodywork of the car. It's one of those where you lift a lever under the driver's seat and the door pops open. I thought the plastic line which holds the cap on must have got stuck under the hinge, but when I opened it up, it was all flush inside. Closed it again, and realised that the reason it looked "wrong" was that someone had obviously tried to prise it open. DH came and had a look and said yep, someone's had a screwdriver or something in there. He bent the metal back so it closes flush again. Whoever did it obviously did NOT manage to get it open so presumably went and tried an easier target. I was parked in a fairly crud area earlier this evening so imagine it must have happened then. So people are nicking fuel again now?

I am so very sorry. I'm glad you have something that needs your immediate attention to help you move forward. But you are still young. I had my first one at 36 and then four miscarriages. I had given up hope of having a second child when DD2 came along when I was nearly 42.

So many good things have happened to you this last year and I am so sorry it could not have continued to be as magical. But I hope and believe there will be many happy times going forward for you
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Now dont be falling off that ball gailey!!! ...and have you tried drinking lots of fresh fruit juice (maybe tmi sorry) but emptying your bowels is good for getting labour starting!! I think thats why people think there is a connection between eating curry and labour starting ;)

ChocClare that is a worry!. My petrol cap is the same type as yours and in effect has no lock. I have wondered if increases in fuel theft will occur and only ever fill my car half full. Still thats about £30 I cannot afford to get knicked so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the tea leaves dont catch on to the unlocked petrol caps. I may start to keep my car right at the back of the drive on a night now ,behind the gate. It involves moving all the wheely bins and faffing about (and I usually cant be bothered!) but if I can get my dear dad to fix my security light on the garage I will feel a bit happier. Its pitch black behind my house at night and I cannot see the dogs when I let them out , they are both black!

    Hugs for you Annie.

I have been wondering if fuel thefts would start. I usually only put ten pounds or more in if I am doing a longer journey than just to town and back so most of it gets used up same day. If I am only using it for shopping in town I get £5 and it has to last several days. my little door no longer locks and the cap is just a screw off type so I will be more careful now about leaving much petrol in.
I will have to find out what kind dh has on his car and warn him about putting too much in.
