I know what you mean. I am already a big part of Ellie's life and I intend to be a big part of Kian's too. I feel fortunate that I have a sister who I am very close to and have the chance to be the best auntie ever to 2 gorgeous children. As I have said before, there is no better moment than when my niece tells me she loves me and I can't wait until Kian does the same.

I've seen my little Kian today so I am happy . He was squeezing my finger. He has a good grip on him.

OH says that he can't afford to give me any money to buy Kian something now. Never mind, I will put £10 aside on Wednesday when I get my DLA to get him something.

I am so skint until then though. I have literally got £5 to my name. Just put another £15 of petrol in my car and that has to be it until Wednesday.

OH is going to see his parents at the weekend - needless to say, I am not going!! :rotfl:

Aww, you're missing out on so much. You could compliment them on the pattern of their curtains, and say how you're 100% sure they're an authentic reproduction of a design worn by Victorian prostitutes...

I know. You think I would learn by now as he often offers to buy something or lend me money and then works out that he can't actually afford it. Never mind. Whenever he offers from now on, I shall just say no. Or I will start to do the same to him :rotfl:.

He sees his parents at least once a month - usually on the weekend he gets paid so he can give them the money to pay that month's payments on the loans they have taken out for him in their name. The fact that it costs him even more to drive there to see them seems to escape my OH. If it were me, I would just transfer it online.

I realised this morning that I am due some more mystery shopping money that I hadn't accounted for - £23 :T. I will use some of that to get Kian a little outfit when it comes through .

My wonderful mum has just got me some chocolate chip muffins to take home too. So I may be skint, but I am happy at the moment .
