Just been to the shops so we could get some stuff to finish the hamper and my niece could get something for her new baby brother.

We're off to see him and my sister this afternoon :j.

Nothing can ruin my good mood today - not even the man who pulled his trousers down to moon his mate in broad daylight in the middle of town. I kid you not!! Managed to shield my niece's eyes thankfully.

Thanks Pap - just been to see him and he is beautiful and tiny but healthy. My sister is going to try and feed him tonight. If all goes well, he may be home by the weekend .

Off the baby talk and onto money talk. I am so skint at the moment. I put £10 petrol in this morning, and because I have been driving all over the place today, it has dwindled fast. I have £3.10 credit on my mobile and I have about 6 pairs of contacts left.

Even when I get paid on Friday, I will still be skint as all that money is accounted for with bills. So, instead of panicking, I am trying to think of what I can do to make my situation better.

So far:

• £7.02 is going into my account from Quidco (should have been £12.02 but they took £5 from it for fees :mad:)
• I'm going to check my tyre pressures in the morning to see if that will help on the petrol front.
• I'm using some of my free web text messages from O2 (I get 10 a month) to text my sister whilst she is in hospital.
• I am reusing my contact lenses and replacing them when I have to (I know that's not ideal, but it's not that bad and I have done it before)
• I've bagged up £2 worth of coppers to put in the bank. I've got to get a couple of coin bags from my mum tomorrow and will deposit them on Wednesday.

I'm going to try and think of some other stuff that will help. Need an early night first.

Thanks - he's even cuter in the flesh. I will try and get a better picture tomorrow. Hopefully he will lay on his back for me so I can get a picture of his gorgeous face .
