When we were waiting to go in for the scan yesterday, this woman came out and said to her friend who was waiting 'it's another f***ing girl!!'. I had to bite on my tongue so hard. I just wanted to say to her 'be grateful you can have a child you stupid cow - some women can't!!'. It makes me so annoyed that some people care more about the sex of the baby rather than just being pleased that it is healthy .

It's because they want matching ones. Like they're collecting cabbage patch dolls...

There are some things that are safe to scrimp on and some that aren't. Razors fall into that category. I've just shaved my legs with some £1 razors from Tesco. They didn't do a very good job and I caught my heel and ankle with one of them. Cue lots of blood. Glad OH is out at a works do tonight as he told me to get more expensive ones.

I'm so tempted to get an epilator now. Decent razors are too expensive.

Hamper is nearly full. My mum got a load of stuff today for it and my free cuddly cow arrived yesterday. Just going to get a few bibs and things. I think my mum is going to get them as I got the basket. She has been dying to buy some baby stuff for months :).

My sister has a caesarian booked in for 5th September. However, on previous experience, the baby is likely to make an earlier appearance. Joshua was born at 29 weeks and Ellie was born at 34 weeks. We are hoping that she goes even further with this one, but even if she doesn't, it is already a good weight so we are all more optimistic about it. My sister is definitely less stressed than she was, which can only help the baby.

And, I was essay writing at the time, but your OH's parents - bloody HELL! I was fuming. THey are not coming to stay again!! Rude !!!!!!!s!

sorry had to get that out!

You make me laugh Buffy :rotfl:.

I was thinking of getting this epilator:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-HP6509-Satinelle-Sensitive-Attachment/dp/B002BA5FCK/ref=pd_cp_d_2

I like that it has a shaving attachment too - I don't think I could handle epilating my underarms or bikini line .

I think the bedding fund is going to have to wait for a while. I've got an ever growing list to get from Amazon:

    Epilator - £27.99
Water For Elephants DVD - £12.93
    The Vampire Diaries season 2 - £27.97.

I deserve a few treats after saving for that bed ;).
