Christ!!
I know times are hard these days but seriously, are people even bothering to claim for things under a £5 now?
Have you actually thought about how much carp a bus driver gets daily, be it from other road users or people like you barking in their ear?
You don't know if the bus driver caused the accident yet blame his as it's convinient
If i still drove buses, you'd be my one finger salute as i drive past while you stand in the rain at the bus stopIf Adam and Eve were created first
.Does that mean we are all inbred0 -

Say I was going to a job interview? They could potentially have cost me a whole lot more then a measly £4.50. ok, I wasn't on my way to an interview, but same rules apply don't they?
Weather or not they do compensate the driver, I will never know, but he seemed incompetent to do his job and unable to deal with situations like these, why should I suffer because of it? I got the bus because its quicker then walking. Why should I have to pay for that poor service?
Try catching a bus in Birmingham, you'll never be on time, regardless of how good/bad we think the drivers are.
I echo the thoughts of everyone else, but I wont be so harsh! What exactly are you claiming for? If i were in charge at the bus company I wouldnt issue refund. I may be interested to hear about the conduct of one of my drivers, but then a woman I work with regularly complains to a bus company about their drivers, but it always seems to fall on deaf ears...0 -
Whilst bus drivers can be complete idiots, my money would be on the Van driver playing silly games.... Sounds like he got ahead of the bus and then held the bus up.... Kinda like being overtaken by someone who then stops to turn at the next junction.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Poor bus driver. He already had a bad day and then you pipe up from the back.....
Be glad someone does that thankless job.0 -
To be honest I have no sympathy for bus drivers - they are amongst the most bad tempered and ill mannered people around.
Having said that I think the OP needs to get a grip. I cant see how the OP would be entitled to any compensation since the OP suffered no loss.0 -
lol @ this thread!
I got caught up at some temporary traffic lights the other day, I think the council should refund me for my wasted time and diesel. I *could* have been going to a job interview.0
