You could only get severe disablement allowance if you were over 16 and incapable of working prior to april 2001?0
-
David Cameron don't give a f****king damn s*** about all 100% Genuine disabled, disability peoples in uk. You ought to be ashamed of yourself David Cameron! Riot in hell PM.0
-
You're not 100% disabled though are you? You're deaf, you can still see, you can still type, you can still go shopping, you're still able to tend to someone elses care needs. That is hardly 100% disabled now is it?0

Let me guess? Are you a student who expects eveything handed to on a plate.
No, I'm a 52 year old woman with two degrees to her name and many years work experience who still found it very difficult indeed to get work when my long term partner cleared off and left me to try to cope with two very small children and disabilties following my receiving a diagnosis that HE couldn't cope with.
Some of us have to face the true realities of life and people like you who deny reality only make that a whole lot harder!"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0 -
jeeshhhh. I have seen it all now.
I feel so ashamed of what this country has become. Our ancesters that fought and died for our freedom in the 1 and 2 world wars would be turning in their grave.0 -
Equality and Human Rights
The Equality and Human Rights Commission
We have a statutory remit to promote and monitor human rights; and to protect, enforce and promote equality across the seven "protected" grounds - age, disability, gender, race, religion and belief, sexual orientation and gender reassignment.
We believe that everyone should be treated fairly and with respect. We are here to make sure the laws about equality and human rights are followed.
We want Britain to be a country that values:- respect
- freedom
- equality
- dignity
- fairness
- age
- disability
- gender (male, female and transgender)
- race
- religion and belief
- being lesbian, gay and bisexual

Genuine question: do you have any reason to think you'll go blind if you work? You do know that they don't tend to spray workers eyes with bleach until they can't see in front of themselves don't you?
As someone who will become deafblind in the future (if I live long enough) I am quite insulted that you want to write me off. I realise I will need to give up work when I can no longer lip read but technological advances might spot that gap and fill it with a gadget to keep me working.0 -

Forget human rights act.
The sooner is scrapped and replaced with a bill of rights the better.
What about Self Respect and respect toward others. You are stealing from others for your own selfish gain. You obviously have no moral compass and dont care for anyone but yourself. Grow up will you.0 -
Yes I earn £1000 a month in benefits, far better than crapy £5.93 per hour job. Free house rent, free council tax, cold weather payments. And we both lives on better life!
