No bonus for me, apart from getting paid basic wage (ie. not the double-contracted-hours-overtime I usually do)2 weeks early so I get half the wage to last an extra 2 weeks  February should be a good month though  I do get paid commission monthly though.
We have a staff night out in March time paid for with the commission our branch has earned on special events throughout the year - eg. personal design, valuation etc. Last year we all (10 of us) had 2 games of bowling and a meal at TGI Fridays

Just changed jobs so not sure- I doubt it though cause it's in a school.
In my last job, it was a con, they were supposed to review the pay on April 1st each year but would spend months negotiating with the unions before finally being resolved in time for the November paypacket, making it feel like you got extra because of the backpay! Mostly the increase was below inflation anyway do mot much use at all.
We also used to get £15 towards a christmas party, but being in a big city the menus used to cost around £25 a head anyway so we'd have to pay the rest ourselves, plus drinks.0 -
No Xmas bonus - work for a university. We HAVE to take the three days off between Xmas & New Year as annual leave which really annoys me. Rubbish really - might get a glass of wine & a mince pie if we're luck

Well I have negotiated the Christmas 'do' at a local Indian followed by a small pub crawl. Staff are free, partners pay half to the meal and then Boss bungs in some monies towards drinks. I get a taxi on the company too as I live furthest away and I arranged it!
My Christmas bonus was target related for the 1st time, so I have applied myself in the past month or so and reached it, I shall tell my Boss the goos news after he has paid out for the party!
We also get a few gifts from Suppliers which are bran tubbed with a lazy twist, as long as there are enough bottles of Spirits the beers then wine per
employee we pick 1 each. Last year I played a blinder as we were given a small box of chocs and a small christmas cake, the guys let me have them as I played the 'single parent family' bonus card!Panda xx

I work solo, too (PA to wealthy individual) so no Christmas party for me, as such, although my boss is very (misguidedly!:o) generous. Last year, she paid 300 pounds for Mr P and I to go out to a fancy London restaurant for a meal - it was delicious but it almost hurt to eat it (we could have had a fantastic feast somewhere lovely for 50-100 and banked the extra 200!!;)). This year, she has started hinting that she would like to send us out for the evening with some theatre tickets and a meal. It will be lovely, but I am crossing my fingers that she gives us the cash for the meal, because we are both of the opinion that spending hundreds on a meal is such a waste... (Its not like she ever asks us how the meal was, or wants to see a receipt...and we could have such a lovely time on that amount of money...we could probably do a "luxury" weekend away - our idea of luxury, obviously - not my boss's...!!:rotfl:).
The thing is,she only does it to be kind because she feels sorry for us because we "never seem to go out anywhere nice". She eats out in Michelin starred restaurants almost every night of the week (eating at home is a rarity for her!) and regularly spends more than our monthly supermarket spend on one meal for two!!
I also get time off between Christmas and New Year - in fact, I usually get about two weeks off over the Christmas season...but before you all jump on me for working for such a generous person, I should point out that I don't get any paid holidays, so although the time off is great, the lack of "regular" income over the festive season is always a bit of a bummer...
...even more so when we've recently been out for an overpriced meal!!!

Not a thing!! Get an invite to a party that is £35 a ticket, no partners allowed, an offer of a buffet from an outside caterers which we have to pay for ourselves, and sometimes on Christmas Eve we can leave 20 minutes early, but we do have to spend the whole day being forced to play stupid games!!
Oh the joys of christmasWith Love From The Mistress xx

nothing financial, 1 priviledge day to be taken either before or after xmas. No money towards staff xmas dinner and sometimes an hours credit for the meal at the discretion of your manager.
Moral is bad and staff numbers fluctuating so much that no xmas meal has been arranged yet.

I get nothing, zilch, nowt:eek: To cap it all, the firm where I work as a temp, is closed over the period between Christmas and New year, so I don't receive any wages either:mad:To Dare is To Do:beer:0
