I don't get anything except the thrill of not having to work for two weeks over the festive period (I used to work all the holidays in last job).
My hubby used to work in a large brewery and guess what......... no Xmas party at all!!!!! They definately couldn't organise a p**s up in that brewery!0 -
Iam another NHS girl ( no longer a student nurse!!!) I'll be working christmas day (late shift, 2-8.30) and ......................guess what............get no bonus !!!0

I work for HMRC and we get nothing either!! - ANy lunches, dinners or parties we go to we pay for ourselves. Do get the MOnday Tuesday both weeks off, plus any annual you want so I guess it aint all bad......No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

I get xmas day & boxing day paid instead of refilling shelves lol0

I get free christmas party with meal , free bar, entertainment etc etc, and a free christmas lunch. Also an extra days hol as well as bank hols. OH gets approx £750 after tax bonus , but has to pay for his own party, what a shame for him!!0

I get to go to peoples houses, who just can't get on and beat each other in alcohol related incidents!! sometimes its in a pub or a club, you can never tell!

NHS too - working day before xmas eve, xmas eve , xmas day, boxing day,new years eve and new years day!!!0

OH gets a annual bonus in which something like 8% is paid at christmas and 12% in Feb. Usually totals about £1500 after tax.
I don't get a bonus, though I've just been awarded a payrise that will be back dated till april 06 and paid in my christmas paypacket - extimated to be £450 after tax for me
DEBT FREE for the first time in 10 years and with savings!

I work for a small payroll company, i get taken for granted all year but at christmas (at least) I get £500 cash bonus, and a weeks paid holiday off !
so feel a bit better
- roll on jan. sales ! 
I'm trying to be a good moneysaver
