My diary - getting rid of my debt deamons!

Ok so since i last posted we have had Christmas, and unfortunately this means that we haven't really paid off much of our debt. Still over 4k to go which seems like a long way.
In addition to this, another debt has crept into the equation. I started a masters degree in September and unfortunately my company have not agreed to fund me in the first year, although there is a good chance that i will get funding for the 2nd year. So, i got myself another interest free credit card to help spread the payments rather then getting a student loan. This means that I have approx 3k outstanding on that card which i need to pay off.
How depressing is that!!!! Not such a good start to this year especially when i managed to pay off 6k last year. Oh well here we go again![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

I lied on the other cc it is over 4k due to home and car insurance renewals in Jan. Total debt to start the year is £8345.26.
The good news is that i have some ebay money transferring over from paypal now of just over £200, I got a tax rebate of £650 which i have put in savings ready for the next payment, and it is payday on Friday. This should mean that the total owed should reduce by at least 1k next week. Also i have some expenses accrued in Jan which i will submit at the end of the month and I think that will be approx £200 - straight off the card.
This should mean that the debt will reduce to 7k pretty quickly - by my rough calculations but i will update with progress next weekend after pay day.[STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

so the total debt has reduced to £7657.11 since my last post! Thats £688.15 paid off so far and I fully intend within the next couple of weeks to get the total debt down to £7000.
Great start I think!!!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j[STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

I just wanted to update and have a little rant really and hopefully feel a little better after.
Been working from home today which is nice, especially on a Friday. However it doesnt make work any easier especially when you have some arrogant and incompetent people to liaise with who wont listen or take advice and then you just think why did you even bother coming to me in the first place!!! Other than that work went ok but now i have to write a sodding essay which has to be in next week and i havent even started it. My plan was that today working from home i would be able to get away with making a great start on it alongside answering a few important emails and phonecalls, but unfortunately this did not go to plan. So i got all my uni work out at 6pm and it just wasnt happening. So after a few hours of watching crappy friday night TV here i am still sitting on the sofa surrounded by lecture notes and barely more than 30 words on the essay. HELP!!!!! Its the weekend and i hate not having free time anymore! If i could afford it I really would have given up work for a year and got the course over and done with in one year full time rather than 3 part time. However i cant afford to half our income or pay the 7.5k uni fees all in one hit.
Ok winge over now i have to get back to the reality which is working on this essay which is the current bane of my life.
Thank you for listening.[STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

Pay day in a week today! Expenses still not gone in so haven't managed to do any more to get down to 7k. If the expenses aren't in by Friday then I will be mad as its been ages since i handed them in!
Tired today as didnt sleep well last night. Still working on my assignment for Wednesday, be glad when its done and over. Been thinking about my career also and whether I am actually enjoying what I am doing, decided that at the moment the experience is the most valuable thing and if I stick at it I will be able to have better options in the future such as work closer to home and work for an employer with better benefits.
Thinking about trying a juice diet for a week to help improve my body and skin, trouble is I need to buy a juicer first!
Well those are the 3 things in life that are niggling me the most so these are the things that I need to focus on, just reminding myself that I can change these things and that I am in control is the first step.[STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

Surprise surprise still no expenses in my account.
Assignment nearly complete and not so painful as I first thought.
Still considering buying a juicer except wondering if it is one of those things that you use for 2 weeks then ends up sitting in the back of a cupboard when the novelty has worn off.[STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

Very pleased because yesterday I got paid and so far this month have managed to reduce the debt to £6600 which I think means that we have paid another £900 off!
Don't know how really as never managed to find that sort of money in the past but it must be correct as just made a payment of £600 off one card and £300 off the other.
My target this month is to dig deep and get another £600 off - expenses were 'lost' so still owed to me, when I get them this will be £200, then hopefully will receive £300 which I loaned to someone, and another £100 from somewhere!!??!!
Wish me luck but if I do manage to do it then whoop de doooo![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59
