    Hi diary,

Not much to update, spent a fair bit of money on clothes this month and only £50 at the hen weekend because I had to cut it short due to a family emergency. Had a cracking first night though - but didn't get to wear everything new that I bought!

Not gone into OD though which is good, and should be able to manage until payday in 2 weeks as I have £90 left.

Have started to look on ebay and gumtree for furniture for my house that I can paint and make pretty to save some money.

And thanks for the congratulations on me getting under the 2k mark - I am pretty pleased!

Well the month of June is flying by, which is good because it means that payday will come sooner, and so will July which is when we are planning a holiday abroad!

Had such a manic week and I am sooo tired, got home from work tonight and collapsed on the bed, straight to sleep, woke up 45 mins later! Didn't mean to go to sleep as I have stuff to do! My manic week started Saturday when I had to cut my hen weekend short due to the family emergency, and since then I have been going to work as normal, but coming to my mums house for an hour before work to see the dog and feed him, then all day at work, then back to mine to feed the cats, then over to mums to look after the dog again, then back to mine for bed, and all while trying to fit in the normal money saving making sandwiches for work and other things! Not much snoozing being done.

Looking forward to them all coming home tomorrow and life will get back to some sort of normality, and looking forward to a lie in at the weekend!

Still got £60 in my account to last until the 27th, but I really need some new trousers for work so was thinking of going to look for some in budget at the weekend. Will see what I come back with!!!

Hmmm I think after all the good intentions of my last post, I did end up back in my OD because of a little spot of shopping! However its all clothes for my hols, and as I haven't been for 3 years I was in desperate need of holiday attire! Just one weekend left to get through before I go, so will see if I can restrain myself from buying anything else! After holiday I WILL be good and go back to being strict with my budget like I was before!

I need to be strict because I got a letter today from the bank telling me that my interest free OD will end on the 22nd Aug!!! That will be my biggest incentive not to use it, in fact I might get it removed all together because I have a limit of 2k!!!

On the bright side payday today and sig updated. £250 off the CC so only £250 to go, which will get cleared next month because the interest free runs out on that aswell! After that I should only have to pay back the OH, so will knuckle down to that.

My debt free lifestyle is getting closer!!!!

Well, it has been exactly one whole month since my last post - where have I been! And its payday again whoopee!!

I have now paid the last £250 off my credit card so that is gone gone gone forever! I am going to cancel and cut the card up as soon as I can so that I have no temptations.

I think that I am about £200 in my OD now after getting paid and then paying the CC off, but I will post the figures on my sig shortly. I just need to get rid of the OD next month now, before I tackle my final debt.

I have not done too badly though, this month I went on holiday, spent £250 whilst I was there on going out and things, and bought a load of new clothes before. This weekend just gone I went into town to return all the things I bought for my hols but didn't use, and on Sunday I finally did the car boot sale, so in total I managed to gain £140!!! I am also still waiting for a refund on 2 rather expensive shirts I bought the OH that didn't fit, which should be another £160 and when I get that I should only be £40/£50 in the red.

Wonder if I can make it through the month without going over £100 in the red???

Just updated sig! Just also realised that I still owe our joint account £200 which will be the overpayment on the mortgage, so when that goes out I will be approx £250 in the red....... booooo.

Never mind keep going and hopefully I will have a good month and not go overboard! No new clothes for me!!!

Figures are more or less the same as they were on payday. I have been using the cash from the car boot sale so far this month, and rather than put this in the bank I will keep this in my purse and this will be my budget for the month, so I won't need to touch my bank account. Hopefully this way I will be out of the OD by Aug payday (which is 3 weeks Friday!)

    Spends this weekend;
Friday night out with work - I decided to drive rather than drink
£2.50 parking (no free parking in city center)
£2.00 pint of cola (kept me going all night)
£7.00 pizza (shared with colleague so was cheaper than individual one!)
£0.00 bowling (already pre-paid this which was £5.50)
    Total spends Friday £11.50

    Saturday afternooon friends bday picnic
£6.50 bday present and card (found something lovely in a 'pretty things' shop)
£1.50 parking (yes, you have to pay to park at the lake we visited!!)
    Total spends Saturday £8.00

    Sunday food shop and gardening
Went food shopping and spent £38 although this is from the joint account so not counted!
Gardening - free! Lovely afternoon spent clearing the weeds, all very satisfying
    Total spends Sunday £0.00

Total weekend spends £19.50, and I have £70 left for the rest of the month

Just updated my signature to reflect how much I am in my overdraft now! Have not spent a penny of my personal money this week as I have been taking lunches to work, so I still have £70 in my purse.

I will be trying my hardest to make that £70 last these 3 weekends until I get paid. So far this weekend I have to buy a friend a birthday present and I am meeting another friend for lunch. Next weekend I have to buy another friends bday present, and I have a party to go to. The 3rd weekend, as yet, I do not have anything planned. And it will stay that way if I run out of money!

Can't wait to update on the 26th when I get paid, I could finally be out of the OD and have a couple of hunderd pounds for myself to top it off!

    This weekends spends so far;

    Friend bday present £9
    Lunch with other friend £9
Parking in city center £3 (which is a bargain considering!)
    Total of £22

Which means that I have £50 left for the next 2 weekends, as I am planning on a NSD today.

Urgh what a day! As my friend described I was all at sixes and sevens today! It means that I was in a state of confusion or dissarray, I just had to look that up!

But at least I was organised because it was a NSD and I brought my lunch to work Yesterday was also a NSD and hope that I have many more of those to come!

2 weeks on Friday to payday and I cannot wait!

Gee i could fall asleep typing this I think I need an early night - yawn.
