As no one has mentioned it I will, but I must stress it will only work at night. Get yourself a Laser Pointer, turn it on in front of the cat & wiggle the beam. Cat's just love chasing the red dot. They will follow the dot anywhere...... :o "But don't make them run into a road, especially if a car is coming" ;D ;D ;D0

Woby Tide
A friend of mine got sick of a neighbours dog crapping in her garden all the time so she gathered up all it's poo and dumped it on the offending neighbour's doorstep. He wasn't impressed but the dog never came back to crap in her garden for sure.
Recall seeing something about red wine vinegar being a deterrent for cats, just try the cheap stuff and spray it around the garden and the bit where the cat has marked its territory and hopefully the smell should put it off. In the How Clean is Your House book and those two attack everything with vinegar, just spray where the cat usually goes and it'll not recognise it's territory. Fingers crossed.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde1 -
