Helen that will be a lovely poem.
and on this day when we are thinking of 'our' DIVA...
We cannot keep those we love with us always but we can be glad we lived alongside them for a time,
we can appreciate what they gave us and celebrate the times we shared and if we can look back at the times we were together with a smile on our faces and in our hearts then we know we have had something very precious and very special - because to love and to be loved is the most precious gift and not a gift we are all given.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Rhys up early this morning, bed late up early. Now sure what the plan is for sis/BIL but i need to crack on with the kitchen, utility room, back hall and front hall. Then if i have time later i'll do a bit in DD's room.
Hoping to throw in a tip run today so need to get all gathered up. Hubby and BIL where suppose to be away to a shoot today but it's been put off until tomorrow, wonder if hubby fancies cutting more sticks.
Right i better get the wm on and the dry clothes folded and dw emptied.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Lovely song Lady L. Please take it easy this weekend sweetheart. I'm throwing you all my spoons xxx
Today's plan is to clean the big car to sell it as we are having some cashflow issues.
DS2 is still very poorly, his temperature is under control now but his throat is almost closed up.
My sister's birthday meal has been cancelled as she's upset too many people. I'm very pleased as I never wanted to go anyway. Her choice of restaurant was somewhere I would never consider. It was a eat all you can for a tenner buffet. Yuk Yuk Yuk.
WM on and one load of dry washing folded. I have mountains of ironing to tackle over the weekend so throw some mules this way if I'm not attending to it.
Hope everyone has a nice day.0 -

Morning all
I got up (about an hour ago) to snow and it's still coming down fast. Not sure how that's going to affect plans for later, but it should be gone by then. DS1 and friend have tickets for a gig in Nottingham tonight. DS2 and I were going to take them, have a look around and find somewhere to eat/go to the cinema. I'm worried that it wasn't the best idea I ever had, but don't want to do the journey twice, either, as it's at least an hour each way.
Time to get some breakfast, do the budget and flutter. I did absolutely nothing last night - not even open a bottle of wine.Lazy moo!
Hope everyone has a good Saturday (and better weather).
