House vacd top to bottom and sofas and cushions too.
Some of the cushions are still in a right state with cat hair. Any tips for getting it off?

Bathroom done
Dinner cooked and another one in the slow cooker cos the chicken needed using.
Have been up in loft again with DH. Binbag to go to charity shop tomorrow, and another tip run needed.

5 out of 6 items sold on ebay, so i need to wrap them ready for the PO tomorrow.

Just been catching my breath and looking at a site of housey/gifty stuff.
For those getting married soon - have a look at these
They are just fab! Lots of other lovely wedding stuff too - candles and bridesmaid gifts.

Tomorrow I will do the cooker and oven

Have decluttered DS1 over to his mates so they can play 'Halo' 'til
silly o'clock.

Found 2 jars of value pasta sauce in the back of the cupboard.
Use by date on them was Nov 2009, :eek: (lids had not 'popped'), did it in a potato bake with carrot and onion. NOMNOM...

It's lovely that so many people remembered Diva today. She was special.

I've not done much since coming in - just chilled and fed myself, DH and DS2. DS1 is not sure what he wants yet, as he's had an upset stomach today.

My 3rd victoria sandwich of the week apparently went down well in the bake sale at school (for the local hospice). I'd filled it with choc spread, so will try that again. Maybe add some cherries for a friend's birthday in May. At least I don't regret baking at 6am this morning.

When DH is out and DS2 is in bed I will make a start - at least fill the WM with towels and do a load in the DW. I'm so tired and it's going to be a busy half-term. If I can get my act together I'll make a list of everything I need to do for work and sort out my budget - if not the budget will get done in the morning and the list sometime this weekend.

Have a good evening, everyone. I shall find a bottle to open in a bit. I'm looking forward to being part of the thread more while I'm off.

I have worn purple and managed to join you all at 1.15 remembering the lovely Diva.

My love,thoughts and prayers have been with Ian and their family and friends who mourn the passing of such a gentle soul. And also much love and prayers to LadyL who has lost a dear friend xx

Just finished my dinner, I only got in at 7.20:eek:

My DH cleaned out the bathroom for me

I am going in now to make some HM sausage rolls for tomorrow then clean the kitchen floor, then settle down with a wee glass of wine, not sure if I will get on tomorrow, hairdresser now changed to 10am which suits me better then I will be cleaning and cooking in preparation for tomorrow night, so enjoy your weekend everyone if I dont get on.

Well, since coming in from work I have put on my PJs I have watched 2 tv progs OH downloaded for me, enjoyed my graze box, drunk 2 cups of coffee with a wee dram in each (hic) I am now off to lay in the bath and have a soak before I go to bed....everything will wait until tomorrow
