A wee something for everyone remembering Diva today!
FREEDOM
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following paths chosen for me
I offered my hand, I heard a call
Then turned and bid farewell to all
I couldn't stay another day
To laugh, to love, to sing, to play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
But I found my peace at close of day
And if my parting leaves a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
And yes, these things I too will miss
But don't be burdened with deep sorrow
I wish you sunshine for tomorrow
My life's been full, I've savoured much,
Good friends, good times and a loved one's touch
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share with me,
I had to leave but now I'm free!
My dad passed away almost 2 years ago after a hard struggle with lung cancer, and the chaplain at the hospice he attended gave him this poem, he was so moved ny it we had it as a reading at his funeral service, it seemed to sum up him and his feelings about letting go!RIP Iain

Morning all
I've done all the lists for the week, not necessarily in the right order......today I've generally tidied round, washed up etc and made a fruit cake which is now on the cooling rack.
Thinking of Diva and her family and friends today.
Not caught up yet so I hope everyone is OK.

It appears to be in Friday's extras... I've worked it out though...
You've been copying and pasting from last year, haven't you:p
Ah right
I usually check and switch stuff around but with feeling unwell this week I hadn't.. sorry:o I just pasted in a rush as I was heading up to bed.. I had to turn the lappy back on to do the list as I was on my way up to bed I remembered I'd not done it.

They have cautioned her and she has to pay 15 pounds by the end of next week. They gave her some forms to sign and she is now banned from the store. They then escorted her back to her placement. The friends that she was with all did a runner and left her. She keeps on telling me she didnt steal the foundation and she doesnt know how it got in her bag (tote bag doesnt fasten) Im furious, upset, embarrassed, bewilderd and dont know what to do. She will now have this offence on her record that will be with her for life. Silly silly girl!!! Ive tried talking to her but all I get is the waterworks and I dont know if she is telling the truth or not. The police didnt call me in and I dont know what forms she has signed as they havent given her any copies. Obviously I have set up some sanctions for her and she seems to of accepted these as punishment but what else can I do:question: Hummm just when I thought my week couldnt get any worse.
really didnt want to post this but im at my wits end
If she has no more offences the record will be deleted in a couple of years.. but if she thinks it is forever.. let her carry on thinking that!!I promise you it isn't!!!!
She shouldn't have signed anything without an adult there so I'd be kicking up merry hell if I were you.. they frighten young vulnerable children into signing allsorts and it might not even be true.. she could have signed anything!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
