Morning all, just wanted to post that my thoughts are with Diva's family and friends today. xx

Need to get Rhys ready and kids to school then lift my sister, it will be a full house this weekend. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
  • Hello

Thanks for the support ... I will be drawing strength from all of you today ... I have plenty of purple clothing/accessories .. luckily Diva & I shared a love of the same colour ;)

I don't need to tell you how special our friendship was .. I think you all know that .. I am going to miss her so much ... but she will want me to smile/be happy, make the most of every day til I see her again .. so that is what I intend to do however difficult it may be :A

My thoughts at this moment in time are going out to Ian :kisses3: & also Tris who I know is going to miss her terribly ... I will continue to "be there" for both of them ... I know that's what Diva would want me to do.

    Virtual & real-life candles burning ...

Special thanks & hugs to Jinks for being my rock all the time :A love ya babe xx

So much for my half hour snooze before work. It kind of went t1ts up. Had a phone call from the police saying my 14 year old daughter had been caught shoplifting in boots. They have cautioned her and she has to pay 15 pounds by the end of next week. They gave her some forms to sign and she is now banned from the store. They then escorted her back to her placement. The friends that she was with all did a runner and left her. She keeps on telling me she didnt steal the foundation and she doesnt know how it got in her bag (tote bag doesnt fasten) Im furious, upset, embarrassed, bewilderd and dont know what to do. She will now have this offence on her record that will be with her for life. Silly silly girl!!! Ive tried talking to her but all I get is the waterworks and I dont know if she is telling the truth or not. The police didnt call me in and I dont know what forms she has signed as they havent given her any copies. Obviously I have set up some sanctions for her and she seems to of accepted these as punishment but what else can I do:question: Hummm just when I thought my week couldnt get any worse.

really didnt want to post this but im at my wits end

Same happened to my wee sister when she was 14 - got in with a bunch of girls she wanted to impress I guess. Not sure if it's the same round your way but AFAIK her's is no longer on her record because cautions for offences committed before age 16 are wiped when the young person reaches age 16 (or at least they were at that time). To be honest, I think my parents took the line that she was grounded for however long and didn't do anything else further, feeling that the hour or two she'd had to spend at the police station was enough to give her a proper scare.

as for flying - WM loaded and ready to go on at 9 (my kitchen is above downstairs' bedroom)
washing cleared off airers ready for the next load
    shopping list written

    I've been Money Tipped!
although I didn't know diva, I'm sending best wishes of all those feeling her loss.:( I think anyone would be moved to know how well thought of they were.

I didn't sleep mush last night....I certainly heard 4 am on the radio news (I know, I know I should have turned the radio off). so I nipped back to bed after checking the animals this morning, and tossed and turne some more. BUT, while I was outside I noted a fairly grim job that hasn't been possible to do for a while is now possible to start, so that takes precidence this morning, after coffee. I feel really grim though...

    Morning everyone,

Have been up early, but have just faffed about.
Off out to my voluntary job soon (prison -chatting with inmates), and will be back at lunchtime. often feel vary drained when I come home, so I may well have a kip.

WM just finished will get that spread about before I go - rain here which wasn't forecast.

    Cats are all in asleep.

Much to do later, so I must stay focussed.

Special thoughts and prayers are with Diva, her family and friends, and LL. I hope that the celebration of her life is exactly that.

    Purple being worn today.

    Catch you later ladies

    I need direction to perfection...
  • Cat - are you okay hun? You'll be on holiday soon and it'll all work itself out. PM me if you want to :)

    life in termoil
    - Dont worry too much I think Esio trot is right.
Anyway it doesn't matter too much for her future, I was working for a govt department and had to sign the official secrets act, you have to declare any police involvement but unless you have something SERIOUS or you try to hide it, it doesn't seem to matter (was working with one guy who had assault and juvenile theft on his record). She's not messed up her future hun, probably just given herself a wake up call. Probably wise to try and get a copy of the paper work just to be sure what she signed ;)
and advise on some new friends ;)

I've posted in purple as Diva's touched so many of you, it's obvious she was a wonderful person and will be missed. Thinking of all of who will miss her today. HUGS

Flying day - the spar oom ? urgh! okay, well at least there isnt any bedding or curtains in there lets have a look at the listy.
