Just having a lunch break, giving the living room a good clean.
Vanilla - feel so sorry for you but have no advice as I know nothing of addiction. I hope you can get the support that you need and that the kids are being kept as protected from all this as possible.
Piggers I'd be hurt, I'd be mad. Can I ask why you looked in the first place? Did you have a sense that something was going on? Can I ask if he was in a relationship when you met (if I'm being nosey don't answer but just wondered if this is how he thinks it is ok to operate in a relationship?) Hope you feel better soon.
Just need to check the bank accounts and then a cuppa and maybe an online shop before finishing the LR.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -
Piggers :- 2 can play that game
Start getting yourself dolled up and say your just popping the shop/a mates/or somewhere and leave him with the kids. Somethings bound to click in his head sooner or later. Failing that give him an ultimatum better to know sooner rather than later what hes playing at.
Dont bother with any of the above, delivery person delivered 13 red roses and bottle of champers, god knows who they are from and i am assuming they are a day late but champers drank and im talking !!!!!!.Sealed Pot Challenge member #982

Hi all
Just dropping in quickly to update what I've been up to today. Hope everyone is well - sending hugs, spoons, kicks in the rear, etc, as required!
Been busy getting ready for my meeting tonight, but in between times, I have been doing the following:
Bathroom/Study
[STRIKE]Declutter floors[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Vacuum/mop all these floors[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean bath, basins, loo[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Scrub the tiles. Clean the grout.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wash bath mats, shower curtains, net etc[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear and tidy and sort towels[/STRIKE]
Wipe ALL the upstairs doors and frames.. don't forget the tops!
[STRIKE]Shine the mirror, clean the window[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clear any clutter from desk[/STRIKE]
Dust PC and desk
Wipe keyboard and mouse, and clean phone.
Do relevant filing/shredding etc
Looking around the place I can see the results of almost two months of neglect - piles of junk, bags for charity shop, etc, etc. Now that things are starting to settle down with work, I can begin (again) to do the sorting and chucking.
I've got my eye on the shed - I need it to store my stock, which is currently in the cupboard, meaning the pushchair, hoover, sack of potatoes, etc, is now cluttering up the hallway. When it stops raining (if!!) I will get out there and start flinging. It's become OHs domain and now you cannot actually get in the door without breaking something (leg, neck, etc).
Right, I'm off to do the school run.
Take care
D

I just thought he spends an awful lot of time typing and when I am chatting online I tell him who it is and what they are waffling about. I'm just nosey and wondered what was so all consuming I miht as well not be here.
Did you have a sense that something was going on?
Yes I think maybe an inkling that I wanted to ignore.
Can I ask if he was in a relationship when you met (if I'm being nosey don't answer but just wondered if this is how he thinks it is ok to operate in a relationship?)
No he wasn't (I asked his sister). He has only ever had one relationship before me and she was a loopy alcoholic and left him for a crack head after messing him about and having him dangling for a while.
Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks so do I! I have just forced down food and a cuppa so hopefully it will stay put and my throat will heal quick!seafarers_wife wrote: »Pigpen, no idea what to say but follow your heart not your head!

I think it may be time to get stuff straight before I completely destroy my head thinking about it.. I made the wrong choice with KH alllowing his affair to go on without majorly blowing a fuse I don't want to do that to myself again.
embb thanks :A its a hole about 4 inches accross so think it has to be the expandable foam - a job for next week I think!!I've managed !!!!!! all since my last post and i'm still livid with hubby, no pressie here or happy birthday until the kids got up and they said it first. He did go on saturday to get a pressie and even told me when he got home that is was a great surprise and i'd love it. Turns out he fell in with someone and spent the money...on an old addiction (he had been clean for a good few years and was doing really really well)....then lied and lied and lied, he's been well caught out this time.
thats the bit that would get me but then I suppose addicts do that because they cant be honest about their addiction
I'll phone his CPN later just so there aware of what is going on and to also prepare them for when the crap hits the fan. My heads messed up now, so think i may just snooze (it usually helps) and then work out what to do with him.:(
What about a HUGE GINORMOUS IOU for your birthday - make a list of jobs you need doing and he does them by way of an apology!!!! It wont cost him any money but will cost him time which is what he should be giving you - maybe make him forgo one of his trips away?
Ishtar I am trying to sort out my shed so I can get things put away propery too - its a grotty job but even HH here and there has made a difference. Good luck with yours.xx
on that note back to the shed:rotfl:

Tuesday ~ Living/Family/Reception room Done
Also done dailies but not started on kitchen yet... off to cobble together some kind of chickeny pasta-y thing for dinner which will help clean out the fridge. Then I should get outside for a walk - 5 days without and I'm finding that it really does clear the head and miss it if I can't go or c.b.a. to go.
Pigpen no advice - just hope you can get things sorted for yourself - I can see the need to have The Talk but I can also see the 'temptation' to not have The Talk when you're already so 'frazzled' and it's just one more !!!!!! thing to deal with. Can't you get a mate over to yours and put the world to rights like someone suggested the other day - Triker? - might help you remind yourself about what's important to you and make any conversations/decisions easier? x
