  • Pigpen - I can't believe you're questioning whether you should be angry or not!? I don't know what your relationship with your OH is like, but if it were me and my OH I'd be heartbroken! I really think that the emotional side of a relationship is more important than the physical, and if my OH were telling another woman that he loved her and wished he was in her bed.. God, I don't even know what I'd be thinking :( Sorry if anyone thinks I'm overreacting but I think your OH's behavior is appalling, especially as he's clearly in a committed relationship with young children.. the selfish t w u n t!

Honesty should be at the core of any reationship, you both need to sit down and have a calm rational discussion about your relationship, your wants and needs, your fears and hopes. There should be no secrets between you as this is where the mistrust starts to leech in and once that trust has gone it is very difficult to regain.

Be honest to yourself first and foremost and the rest should follow.
piggers you cant get rid of him until you have passed your driving test!

That's about where I am at the moment.. but I have so much else going on I can't filter the emotions into their proper places.

I am really confused as to why he would consider it.. I was actually more upset he had told her she is his valentine when I should be.. completely irrational as it is all a load of balderdash but I found that really really offenive.

I think it may be time to get stuff straight before I completely destroy my head thinking about it.. I made the wrong choice with KH alllowing his affair to go on without majorly blowing a fuse I don't want to do that to myself again.

Piggers no advice really except that i would have it out with him, making it very clear that it is his decision what to do next.... it will only eat away at you until you do.

I've managed !!!!!! all since my last post and i'm still livid with hubby, no pressie here or happy birthday until the kids got up and they said it first. He did go on saturday to get a pressie and even told me when he got home that is was a great surprise and i'd love it. Turns out he fell in with someone and spent the money...on an old addiction (he had been clean for a good few years and was doing really really well)....then lied and lied and lied, he's been well caught out this time.

I'll phone his CPN later just so there aware of what is going on and to also prepare them for when the crap hits the fan. My heads messed up now, so think i may just snooze (it usually helps) and then work out what to do with him.:(

I may even manage some flying later. :)
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Oh Vanilla...

I know how hard addiction is as I myself am a recovering addict and am working a twelve step programme. It is an awful disease and we addicts often tend to hurt the ones we love the most. I am not in anyway excusing his actions but if u need someone to talk to about this who is an addict themselves please feel free to contact me anytime.

Ok.. I have had lunch, mums been for a chat. Had a lovely phone call from Lincolnshire fire service and they are doing my home check tomorrow afternoon. Sending me a man in uniform too so I had better be a good girl. Good job I am getting on top of the house today..

Ok.. off I go HHC starting now.. x

    Hello all.

Belated Happy Anniversary to PenPen and Mr PenPen; sorry, I'd logged off by the time you posted that it was your anniversary.
1 step closer oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. May their journey be a peaceful one.
    Jinky Hey.... welcome home!!
Katiecat sending posi-vibes to your sister.

Grateful ooh, what sort of puppy are you getting?

Natty I've had varifocals for 3 years now, the ones I'm picking up Thursday are just an updated (stronger) prescription. I was advised to get used to them gradually when I first had them, wearing for an hour the first day, 2 the second and so on, and going back to my other specs in between. But in fact I found no problems getting used to them, and was wearing them the whole time after just 3 days. I think they err on the side of caution, because some wearers do take a bit longer to get used to them.

Vanilla (((HUGS))) I don't know what to say to help you, but will send posi-vibes your way. Have a Happy Birthday, in any case.
Happy Birthday Thifty and also to Mummyyof5's DD:beer:
Cyclingyorkie congratulations on getting to the end of the ironing...... time for a bottle of champagne, methinks! (Any excuse......) (Gosh I seem to be using that smilie a lot today)

Mudders welcome home; make sure you take it easy, s0d the housework for now, just declutter a few hugs for The Stripey One.:o

Dippypud step away from the nasty nicotine coffin nails – cuddle a kitten instead!:o

Poohbear I hope your DS2 isn't too poorly, and makes a swift recovery.

Piggers oh dear, if Mr LW did something like that, I think he's get his 'puter shoved up his rectum – tower and all. But there, I don't often lose my rag, but when I do, I do it big time, and I most definitely over-react to things. And that said, I cannot imagine Mr LW doing that, not ever. I hope you can work out the situation and regain your equilibrium. Oh for goodness sake, I know you don't do hugs, but have a (((HUG))) anyway. So there.
... for all the newbies it's the love & support that makes this place so special.
Wot she said, with bells, whistles and a tartan ribbon! I don't really have RL friends, so you folks mean a great deal to me.:grouphug: <--- dodgy hug for all my Flylady pals.

Why has Piggers picked the ONLY room I havent touched for today?:rotfl:
Haven't you heard? Those eight-leggeds you find indoors are actually Piggers' spies.... they report back to her via the World Wide Web.:rotfl:

We had a lovely night out; the food was superb, as was the champagne. This morning was excellent also, but I'll say no more, lest I get told TMI.:rotfl: I'm absolutely shattered today, but that's to be expected. I shall attempt a little flippy-flappy-fluttering in a bit.

Actually, flying-wise, I did load the WM before we went to bed, and set the timer to come on overnight, so it was ready to empty at 05:30. Then put a 2nd lot on, with my undies and a couple of tops that go on the Delicates wash. It's all out on the rotary line at the mo, (Mr LW helped peg it out before he went to work), so I'm keeping an eye on the weather, ready to [STRIKE]rush[/STRIKE] hobble out at the first sign of rain. And no, Valli, the pegs are totally random, I'm afraid.:rotfl:

I'm just glad I did the bit of baking that was needed yesterday as I'd deffo not have the energy today! Cheese straws, and a carrot'n'orange cake, if you're interested.:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
