I'm doing first viewing of a property later today (armed with useful list of things to check / ask about - from MSE site, obviously!)
Slight reservations about polycarbonate roof on conservatory / relatively high heating costs, but house has a lot of plus points too...0 -

Paid off existing mortgage with First Direct earlier today - with a little help from mum & sister
Arranged new 5 year fix at 2.99% (arrangement fee £499) with First Direct for house purchase - max. I'll borrow will be £76,000
