If you like Nivea face cream, may want to stock up as it could be selling out, lol.

I'd also like to add my best wishes to Foxy Lady and also hope that, when she feels ready, she'll take measures against Boots for their appalling actions.
I was in boots myself today, looking to get some boots sun cream for myself but decided to pop back in tomorrow. On paying for something else in another shop I realised that I had my children's new Boots sun cream in my bag and, recalling foxy lady's terrible experience, had a sudden pang of panic that I could easily have been accused of shop lifting myself. I certainly will be more wary of casually browsing in Boots in the future and, at least, check what I have in my my handbag before I go in another Boots store. It can't be good for their trade if honest customers do not feel comfortable about browsing in their shops....0 -
I'm delighted to hear that foxy lady's ordeal is over, but smarting, on her behalf, at the dreadful treatment she has received from Boots. Whether she chooses to pursue this or not, I'd like to thank her for bringing all this to our attention.
Boots' glitches seem to be a rare sight nowadays, and I've found other places that cater for my needs, for much less.

I've taken advantage of a few Boots offers recently, and in one or two cases this has cut the cost of things I would normally have bought anyway, but the overall effect has seen me make 'savings' while spending a small fortune on stuff I could use but probably didn't really need and wouldn't have bought anyway, just because I had a 'discount' coupon in my hot little hand. I always check prices online before I go out when it comes to stuff I know I do need/want, and for recent items (self-tan lotion and a few hair products), it's proved much cheaper just to buy them in Asda, five minutes away from my local Boots.
Until reading foxy lady's story, I used to laugh at the over-the-top security in the Boots branch we shop in. Whenever me and and my daughter shop in there, there is always a member of staff hovering nearby trying to look busy, or a security guard patrolling the ends of the aisles in a manner reminiscent of a wartime movie Nazi patrolling the perimeter of Camp Colditz. There's one in particular we've always found entertaining, popping up 'discretely' at the end of every aisle as we make our way through them like a really bad version of Inspector Clouseau.
I'm beginning to see the price we've been paying for all this amusement. I think I can see the light, and it's an Asda Smart Price oneFreddie Starr Ate My Signature

Hi I was glad to hear that the charges against foxy lady was dropped and wish her well in whatever she decides to do about the situation she was put in. Also I'd like to let like minded s&g lovers know that the no7 voucher is working with all 3for2 including s&g. Just remember that no 7 item can't be the cheapest .
I can confirm this from yesterday:
1x No7 Eyeliner £7.75 (less £5 Voucher)
1x Soap and Glory Clean on Me Shower Gel £5.11
1x L'Oreal Perfect Clean foaming Gel wash £4.99 (free)
Total paid £7.86

In the past those two items always worked, I think they aren't classed as miniatures somehow in they system. Hadn't thought of those in a long time, I'd be interested to know if the till accepts those without a beep still too as I have a few vouchers to use.0
