Hi Foxy Lady. Sorry to bring this up again as you're probably trying to forget all about it now. I saw some responses to your post and had to go all the way back to the start to read what had happened. I am FURIOUS! I can't believe just how disgusting and pathetic Boots are.
So, you benefited in some way because you returned something and got more back than you paid for it? Okay, so what about the times that Boots have benefited from people genuinely losing their receipts and those customers then having to get a crappy, much lower price for an item (ie when something's gone down in the sale?). As if they haven't made any money from that? Funnily enough they don't try their damndest to look through the advantage card history etc to see that a person paid full price.
And, I'm definately going to take up an issue with them. My partner bought a camera from one of their stores ages ago - the camera was missing. Cue lots of arguing with OH re. his ineptness. Sister suggested it may be on display. She went and checked the next day - asked to see the same model and lo and behold it had the same serial number as my box. Gosh, boots were bloody lax in dealing with that. Still haven't probably because I couldn't be doing with the hassle of pursuing it and being damn bloody lazy. But you know, now I'm going to call them and threaten them with the police tomorrow as they have MY property that I PAID for.
And I've lost my buzz for Boots too.
Honestly, some people (like the jobsworths working there / trouts) just need to get a life. So pathetic. But I believe in karma. I hope they get their come uppance in another store. They have no problem taking the money but have a problem when giving it back.
You screw them as much as you can foxy lady - they deserve it. ARGHHHHHHHHHH!0 -

After 2 interviews and an appeal i still lost my job- However the girl that served me and the same person who reduced the items has never once been queationed. I lose my job n she gets away with what she did - Boots are not an understanding company by any means. So foxy lady who was arrested wrongly should drag the swines through court n get as much as you can out of them - they disgust me !!!!!!!!
Boots get away with so much when it comes to shoplifting and falsey accusing people - ive seen one person dragged out of store for attempted theft - which is wrong as he didnt actually steal anything.
Sorry to hear about your job. ((hugs)) Debenhams are the same, staff not allowed to buy reduced stock without a manager. Pathetic!Julie0 -
WOW!! ive just done the same, how wrong wrong WRONG!!! I hope you're alright now foxy. xxxxwhisper7832 wrote: »Hi Foxy Lady. Could anyone tel me if Boots ae still giving out the haircair vouchers today?
Thanks0 -
yes they were still giving them out today. They are valid until 12th July so probably still giving them out tomorrow?
I got the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hair Repair Intensive Conditioning Treatment in a sachet £1.89 which scanned as free with the voucher.0 -
Just a reminder the haircare vouchers expire today. Some John Frieda freebies with the voucher that I know of are:
-Sheer Blonde Hair Repair Intensive Conditioning Treatment sachet
-Brunette version of the sachet (this worked today)
-mini purse-size tubes of hair serum (this worked today)
-and I think the little bottles of hairspray too
The till should accept these items without beeping and requiring approval (and most SAs will let it go through if the till takes it). The two kinds I tried also worked on the Self-serve till without requiring approval.0 -
Yep the hair serum did work....
Anyone know what the next voucher is?0 -

Hi all,
Boots.com are running an online event today. You collect 10pts for every £1 when you spend £50 or more.
It looks like its online only.
There are also some additional bonus points on Fitflops, pushchairs etc etc.
And they have a Offer of The Week on the Soap & Glory Bundles - This is excluded from the points event.
This may not be for everyone but if you were planning on shopping soon with Boots then I would advise today!
