Have you received your statements yet, I am in the same position. I have sent a reminder letters but the deadline is now up. Not sure what to do next?
Any ideas anyone?

Hi,
I have got to the stage with alliance and leicester where i have sent the letter threatening legal action if they do not return my bank charges of £275. I received a letter saying they are looking into the issue and will let me know their response asap and sent me another complaints leaflets. Has anyone had this response? or success from this? or do i proceed to court action? Can i now back down and ask for 75% of my charges or is it too late so i can avoid court. Help! Dilema!0 -
Has anybody had success without taking Alliance & Leicester to court? I've received my statements, I requested £163 inc interest, they wrote back saying the charges were lawful, I've now just wrote back threatening court action. I'm now getting quite scared!!!:eek:0

There has been sucess with small amounts like this, they have settled fairly quickly, but you will have to start court proceedings0 -
Hi
Have had my acknowledgment letter from Wragg & Co. Also a Cheque for £645.00 (claiming £3200 inc interest) which I'v sent back. Just waiting for the 5 page defence to come through. Starting to get nervous but always feel better once I'm on the forum with you guys.Always helps knowing you're not on your own.0 -

Thanks, are they likely to wait till the last minute then? If it gets to court does this mean that I actually have to attend a court and will it be a local court in my area?0 -

For a small amount like that they should settle fairly quickly, Once they get the court papers through you should get a cheque0 -

I was claiming £2020 and was offered £1145 after 2nd letter. Have decided to accept without going to court as, looking at other people's offers, mine seemed to be quite high in comparison...really don't know why. They seem to be randomly selecting people to pay out?0
