Hi i'm in the middle of reclaiming against the A&L. I recieved a 7 page document from them today telling me of thier case to defend.. Has anyone taken them and won ? If so can you share your story? Thanks Dave
I've just won (see post above) and will be posting on the Success thread shortly. It's long-winded (took 8 months), stressful at times, but if you hold on and don't let them frighten you into giving up, you'll get there. The vast majority of the time, you'll win by default anyway as they WON'T submit a court bundle, so just a matter of time.

I foolishly agreed to a “stay” thinking that Wragge wanted to negotiate a settlement, No need to go explain what happened their ??
I have just resubmitted my claim.
Now as I understand the latest from martin that the banks are putting a stay on all claims, well I was sure I read in the Allocation form that only one “Stay” would be permitted by the judge. Would that mean that the bank cannot get out of this one??0 -

The AQ should have been sent with the letter? You may be able to download one from the hmsc website, if so you'll find the guide to the AQ in the Reclaim Help Thread which is linked in my signature.0

I received a £25 charge from A&L on 1 August, even though my statement shows £100 going into my account before £100 went out on a standing order (all on 1 August). I phoned up to question it, and they won't even consider a discretionary refund, instead my complaint as been logged, its been referred because of the test case, etc....
I just wondered whether anyone else had received a discretionary refund from A&L since 27 July - this seems so unfair as I have not had the account long and have not had any other charges from A&L.0 -
Received a letter from the court, they've given me a court date, the 6th of november 2007, so does this mean that it will go ahead despite the test story going on.....?0

Looks the way. The bank could of course still apply for a stay.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Can't really help 'til we know what you've been asked for. Post the judge's directions on here, he could have asked you for any number of things and it's very important you comply by the date given.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0
