MONEY MORAL DILEMMA: What's more important - MoneySaving or Santa?

  • I thinjk that the parents should tell the kids that Santa doesn't exist, and that if they buy them really expensive presents for Christmas, then there won't be enough money for other treats in the short-term future. Even if they didn't tell the kids they were in debt, the kids would guess something was wrong if their parents were constantly stressed. The kids will find out at some point that Santa doesn't exist anyway (the 8 year old probably already knows). It's never too early to start educating kids about managing their money and as far as I'm aware it's not on the school curriculum.
