Still coming out on top at energyhelpline today!0

It is still available as I explained in post#4.
Here's the direct link to the SP website contained in that thread linked to

I would suggest using a comparison site to see which supplier & tariff is best suited to you
Thanks, yes I was just being dumb! Found it now
I quite fancy getting a tariff with an electricity monitor so am considering Unifi or something similar...0 -
I've called a couple of times in the last few days, to be told the OES12 finished last wed. I kept persisting but they were having none of it. Called today and was given it almost straight away. The diffrence in this call was that, I told them I was offered the tariff prior to wed, and i was thinking about it, and decided that I wanted it. I also said it was on a price comparison site still. They did however try to bump up the DD £10 more a month than I worked it out to be.Total Debt - £0.00

You could probably buy quite a few with the money you would save going on the cheapest possible tariff
As Martin says, don't let the enticement of a freebie be a decision maker. That's exactly the trap the marketeers want you to fall into."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Just called today, was immediately told it was withdrawn last week, when I pressed saying that people were being put on it as at yesterday she went off to check and came back and said it was fine.
She did offer me the Platinum Fixed, the unit rates of which aren't too bad but the standing charge rates are doube the existing fixed rate I'm on.
That's a whole other subject really, I'd have thought the standing charges should be fairly static because they're ostensibly a charge for the supply not the fuel used and of course the supply is pretty fixed, I think there's a bit of a swizz going on with those standing charges...
Anyway, as at today I'm on Online 12 as well, thanks for the tips in this threadOf course they'll up the rates on it next week you watch!

Just got off the phone with SP, and was refused online 12 despite constant pushing. Might try again tomorrow, otherwise I'll probably switch to e-on0

I got switched over to OLE12 yeterday them from B Gas.
Requested the switch on 5/1/11.
Everything went through smoothly. :T0 -
Was looking this am for switches for my daughter who is currently with EON FIXONLINE 5; OLE12 is still coming up on comparison sites ??0

My deal had ended and I saw these posts last night, I just called them this afternoon and managed to get onto OES12.
The advisor told me it was withdrawn and they couldn't accept new customers so I told him "you better tell your web tearm then as it's still on the site and you've got nothing listed to replace it..." and then said "btw, if you can't give me this product I've done a comparison and I'd move to British Gas but I'd prefer to stay with you, can you check with your supervisor please?" the guy replied he'd ask someone else but didn't actually bother and put me straight on to the tariff. :j0
