  • Well done on getting a positive result. Nice to see Paypal can be sensible and not look at cases as black and white all the time...

This was a black/white decision though, item not returned to seller therefore buyer loses case.

OP, you could try asking ebay to remove the neg but it doesn't actually breach any of their rules.

I've read some cases where the buyer gets to keep the item and get a refund. Hopefully this is a sign that they are going to start taking the seller into consideration.

Glad to hear that you got a happy outcome. :-)
  • Good good - as I was reading through the thread I was thinking 'but what if she returns it covered in dog dirt or something?'. Glad to hear she got nowhere with her lies :)

  • Always wary of pick ups now. I picked up a tent from london that was supposed to be new unused. Got it home attempted to put it up at weekend, Turned out had bits missing and broken. Having no reposnse from emails to seller, opened paypal dispute. Seller stated return address in Italy! Stiched up like a kipper! Glad you got the result you needed by paypal acting rationally for once!
