Congratulations on your new arrival. Sounds a bit of an ordeal. I am put off having a 3rd because i think it would end up unplanned at home through speed. Happy to hear all went well anyway.
I'd take your coins to the bank. Those supermarket machines take a huge commission.0 -
Looking at the SOA
Amount left after debt repayments....... 759.16
OK there are some annual things missing but do you have this ammount left every month?
I would revist this and get a better picture of the money.
Also your oil at £200 is probably high for the year if it based on the 400 for the 2 coldest months so there is probably more left on the SOA than you think.
When does the mortgage come off the fixed rate and what rate does it move to? you will need to start thinking about that 6-8 months in advance.

In my area the water board have been doing a type of green/save water promotion. They come to your house and do a review of all taps, toilets, showers etc and then give you remedies to save water. There are no catches or age restrictions either, my mother did this recently and got a fancy gadget for her kitchen sink which you can switch to spray e.g. if you are rinsing dishes etc you lose/use less water than normal tap flow, she also got two new shower heads which reduce the spray and a huge water butt for the garden as well as a fancy trigger spray head for the garden. She could have had other things for bathrooms but she was already using the best type of water savings 'gadgets'
Thanks for this - I'm with AW & have just registered :T. What nice people they are. Have also registered for online billing which puts me in a £500 draw :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Yes it ended up being a one hour labour, still having a little of bundle of joy is a great feeling.
Oh if they take a big slice then I had better get some coin bags.

Yes i realise its high for oil but only been here two months so hard to work out an average so far.
The mortgage is fixed for 2 years on 2.65% until Dec 2012 with Halifax and I am allowed up to 10% overpayments each year.
In answering your question do I actually have that left each month then on average yes. Sometimes more when we take bonuses.
