I`VE BEEN ON TALK TALK FOR A WHILE NOW THE SAVINGS YOU MAKE ARE FANTASTIC WITHOUT THE HALF PRICE PLAN CHARGE! MY BILLS HAVE COME DOWN DRAMATICALLY SINCE I HAVE LEFT BT! THEREFORE I STILL BELIEVE YOU SHOULD STAY WITH TALK TALK REGARDLESS OF THE HALF PRICE PLAN CHARGE AND BENEFIT FROM SAVINGS IN OTHER AREAS!

:-[just rang talk talk to try and get the £6.50 unlimited calls. They refused and said this offere no longer exists and that it would have to be £12.99 per month. I accepted this and they are also going to credit my account with £10 so that's better than nothing. Is anyone esle out there able to get the offer at £6.50 or have they really stopped doing it

Im not a TalkTalk customer but Im definately going to sign up after this, looks like they are the only company that are going to remain competitive.

A friend of mine called about this offer, didnt get it, but did get told that they were reviewing their prices. He always praises them for the deals they give. He used to work for onetel so he always put he off them cos of their billing problems and duplicated calls and their 0870 rates are ridiculous. Maybe by the time my application has gone through this offer will be back.

Can confirm that having just called Carphone Warehouse as an existing Talk 3 package customer, managed to get £10 credit on my account.

However you have to be a bit cagey, if the initial customer advisor says there are no special reductions available at present, ask to be put through to the cancellations team.

Your call then should be diverted to a Customer Options Team who will go through some sales speak on what they are doing to combat OneTels £10.99 offer and should offer as a goodwill gesture of a £10 credit on your account.

Not bad work for a phone call.....and dont forget to use the local rate number of 020-8896-5000 for any other account queries and not the 0870 number

    Good luck

Hold on, if you are a TalkTalk customer, then you don't get charged to call the 0870 TalkTalk customer care number from your TalkTalk registered phone which is pretty good. You get charged for all other 0870 calls obviously.

Unless you are on the Option 3 tariff, you will pay for an 0208 call at 2.7p a minute rather than free!! Who has not read the sales pack....

I know what number I will be calling to get try and get my £10 credit!!

Threatened to leave and they were not up for giving a credit of any type let alone cheaper line rental.
    Anyone else been more successful?

They did say they were reviewing prices and they may be a change soon. I think I will hold on and see what happens, I have got my 5 most called numbers signed up to it and call them for free so I am saving quite alot!
