Thank you for the suggestions, I've looked into helping the homeless and my nearest one is in the city 17 miles away! I'm afraid I live in an old mining village, middle of nowhere, local library 14 miles away, but in the other direction but it is very good when I go into town, will go this weekend and maybe pick up a dvd :)

I need to meet some new friends, my current ones are all partnered up and make me feel like Bridget Jones at the dinner party :rotfl:am so knackered though after helping my folks and work and the thought of going to a pub alone scares the *** out of me! :(

Have already found some nail polish and am sat on the sofa with my dog sorting my nails out :T

Look at all these brilliant photos with comments: Lolcats

Or spend a couple of hours reading this: Having fun with Debitas

Either one will cheer up the dullest day. Promise :)

A good walk in the park on a sunny day always lifts my spirits - the difficult bit is motivating yourself to get going, but just do it, even if you really don't feel like it. I should take my own advice, really!

If you want a quick smile walk around the local card shop and read some of the messages that folk send to their 'friends' on their birthdays.failing that take a walk in the park it costs nothing and it was the first thing I did when I came out of hospital after my mastectomy in 2007.It was so nice to feel fresh air and see the grass and sky which I thought I wasn't going to enjoy again I often just have a walk around my local park for a 'cheer-up' if I'm feeling a bit blue.Life is so precious and you don't realise how precious until you think you might not have much left.Nect moth I have another mammogram and in May Isee my surgeon and hopefully get my third year of remission clocked up. Greatest feeling in the world that day.

Again I would like to thank people for their replies, it really helps. Am going to a wedding soon which I'm looking forward too. Have also discovered Simons Cat and Mitchell and Webb on You tube which cheers me up no end. Have started the spring clean which is suprisingly satisfying and have even joined up to a dating website! haven't had the courage to talk to anyone yet but at least it's a start :-)
