Any ideas if the the video sender will accept the remote control signal with a Telewest Pace 4000 box? Apparently these work ok for the tv signal but have problems when trying to change the TV channels via remote.
Cheers

Got to be careful with Video Senders.....I once tried to 'send' a Frankie Vaughan DVD from the living room to the bedroom....it was like something out of the Seventies! The neighbours seemed to enjoy though.0

We bought one of these last year and use it to connect the Freeview
box in one room to DDs bedroom. She uses the remote and changes channels with no probs.0 -

"DivX is a video codec created by DivX, Inc. (formerly DivXNetworks, Inc.), which has become popular due to its ability to compress lengthy video segments into small sizes while maintaining relatively high visual quality. DivX uses lossy MPEG-4 Part 2 compression, where quality is balanced against file size for utility. It is one of several codecs commonly associated with ripping, where audio and video multimedia are transferred to a hard disk and transcoded. As a result, DivX has been a center of controversy because of its use in the replication and distribution of copyrighted DVDs. Many newer "DivX Certified" DVD players are able to play DivX encoded movies, although the QPEL and GMC features are often omitted to reduce processing requirements, so for compatibility reasons, are excluded from the base DIVX encoding profiles."0
