Don't know if this will work! But hopefully it will,

I was wondering if anyone who has had a Maggie dress can offer advice on wether it will fit me ! I am losing weight and have lost 11lbs since these pictures were taken. I was a bit silly and bought a dress I hadn't tried on. But the other maggie dress I tried on was the same size. I am not sure if my OH had got it done up right, or if I had it high enough! or maybe I am clutching at straws LOL!

Thanks in advance

I went to the trouble of creating a flicker account, and was then informed that the page was private.

  • I could see it...
If you've lost 11lb I guess it would fit you better now, could you not sew a piece of material behind the ribbon? When's the wedding?

Ah i can see it now

    You need a modesty panel.

When you lace it up, get him to do it as tight as it will go, then wait for about 20 mins, then get him to tighten it again.
    You'll look beautiful hon

I have got the material panel that goes in the back but I wanted to wear it without.

Was just going to say the same as giddypenguin...you could insert a modesty panel. Though if you've already lost more than 3/4 of a stone (sounds more than 11lbs!) and you're still on a weight loss programme I'm sure you'll be fine

how has it rolled over at the waist? the 'V' should be tapered, but yours seems to disappear between waist and bust - it does look like you havent pulled it up high enough, as its sitting a few inches below your armpit

yep, i would def say you need a modesty panel, as that will disguise the fact the dress is slightly too small in the chest area

That's why I was wondering if it's not high enough because it has rolled over. I think maybe it needs to go up higher. I have the panel but OH wanted it without, if it looks naff though I will insist it goes back in. Just hopingI don't have to get another dress :(
