Free £20 John Lewis Voucher With An HSBC Online Saver

Just deposited my £500 and asked when I would receive the voucher.
Answer was: "When the money has been in the account for three months, with no withdrawals"0 -
I applied for this back in mid november, when I got the email. Still not heard anything from HSBC - is it just me they don't want or have others not heard about it yet?0

Hi - I applied several weeks ago and about two weeks later got a letter asking for proof of address etc. There were eight options and you had to choose two - sent my stuff back to them exactly as asked and got a letter at the end of last week saying what I sent was not sufficient so I needed to send proof of ID. I phoned them (pain in the bum - when I rang the number on the letter, it said to current account holders to enter their account number, but for others to call an 08456 number). Anyways, they all seemed a bit clueless too and suggested I take photo ID into a branch (the letter stated if they didn't hear from me within 14 days, then they'd terminate my application). Popped into the bank today and they knew nothing about it, but copied my ID and said they'd send it to the processing dept.
Funny thing is, the original letter asking for my documents said not to produce them at a branch as this would slow everything down - it said it's much better to send the documents straight to them.
It does seem like maybe they're on a go slow or just overwhelmed. Bit worried about semi_artificial's post though. Has anyone else been asked the same thing?0 -
Received a message from HSBC today to say Online Saver only needs to be funded with £1 now.0

I was told "at the end of January".
