I cant believe all the men have resisted the urge to say "the wife".

Thanks for your help LondonDreamer. We looked on line for various processors and most were out of stock so we went out and bought a FP730 as per your reccomendation.
I am amazed at all the bits that comes with it! I made some soup last night - blended with the liquidiser and then also grated cheese in the processor.
I love it already!
Thanks againIt's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0 -

Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right place to post but just wanted some advice on what food processor to buy. My old one has finally died, had it well over 20 years so not done bad. Has anyone got any recommendations.
Thanks in advance.0 -
Hi rosiedee,
There are lots of recommendations on these threads that should help:
Help choosing food processor
Food Processor or Mixer: Magimix or Kenwood
I'll add your thread to the first link later to keep the suggestions together.

What excellent timing; this is a problem I shall have to address in the near future, as my aging Kenwood is showing increasing signs of fairly imminent demise.
The dimensions of any new machine are important, too, as it'll have to live in the cupboard when not in use (worktop space is at a premium in our kitchen!)
Many thanks for the links, Pink-Winged.:beer:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Have been reading reviews and the Kenwood FP730 looks like a good bet, has anyone got any comments on this model?0
