The last time I made a complaint, I didn't bother writing to the 'customer relations department', I simply obtained the name of the Chief executive and wrote to him (snail mail) c/o the Head Office. I not only got a reply from him, but one from the customer relations department within 24 hours, plus a £20 gift voucher. Don't ever phone, it's easy to either get confused or lose your temper - much better and clearer to put it in writing.0

Tesco, Terry Leahy, Chief Executive, terry.leahy@uk.tesco.com
I got a response from this email address quite recently.~*~ If you don't need it, it isn't a bargain ~*~0 -
Sell your computer then you'll have enough money to buy food.
Don't be such an idiot.
OP, you should certainly persue this, that manager has no place working with the public. I'd go and see the CAB and see what advice they can give you. I wouldn't back down from this, keep pushing until something is done about him.

I was having terrible problems with Sainsburys which went on for well over a year ( it was an ongoing problem which they said they would sort and didn't ) in the end I wrote to the chief executive of Sainsburys who sorted it for me
if you don't get results go to the top !!!!!0 -
The way you have been treated is disguisting.
I also had similar experience when one of the children was sick in store [he is seven months,] not alot sick and i was told by a duty manager leave and not come back...
I complained and got a email and phonecall from Terry Leahy and got a £30 giftcard. I have been back in since and the manager kisses my big bum when i come in. Ive not seen the duty manager since, she either avoids me or its pure luck.mum to; Two Boys (Non id twins)Two Girls (Id twins)0 -

Exactly.
There are hundreds of people out there who would love a job. People like that should think very carefully about how they deal with the public, there are lots of people waiting to jump into his shoes who would do a better job and be grateful for that job.0 -
I would love to be able to thank you all personally for your very kind and helpful replies, I definately wont be giving up on persuing this, I will keep you all posted on how everything progresses, thanks again0

when my DD was very broke a few years ago she had to buy some basic value tea bags from Tescos and to say they were dross was insulting to dross. She complained to the manager and his attitude was well what do you expect from such a cheap product. She became very angry at his condesending manner and complained to their head office and asked if anyone there had actually tasted the rubbish they were selling. She had a £10 voucher back and a letter of apology byreturn post. She has always said its worth carrying on with a complaint as they do not like the media to become involved.true the tea bags were inexpensive but they were little more than sawdust and made a terrible cuppa.0
