omg ! its twins
We are really pleased and happy we are getting two beautiful babies but at same time so much organising and finacial implications i sometimes are finding myself feeling a little snowed in.
we already have a 2 and a half year old and we live in a two bed we are sort of stuck here cos no equity and the car is a astra n we r gonna need a people carrier as my partner as a 13 yr old from a previous relaitionship we have on a weekend.
we already have one of everything from our first child just need it all in double amounts.
We are really pleased as i say - just wish i had other mums of twins t talk to as would love to hear there advice and the assurance that these feels are not isolated

Im currently pregnant with my first and live in a one bed , so space will be tight. I know that guidelines dont recomened it anymore but I shared a cot with my sister. My mum says it settled us more. So not sure if you could do that . We both had an end each , but like I say it says in my nhs booklet not to do this, Hopefully some mothers of twins will reply with helpful suggestions.Congrats !!! xxThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Congratulations!
Have a look at this; I know several people who found it invaluable for offering support. I think it's how they met other people expecting twins:

My little girl was 2 1/2 when our twins were born.....
you survive
promise!!
We still live in a 2 bed flat (with garden) all 3 of ours share.
Dont go out an dbuy loads as quite often friends/family will have bits you can have or borrow and free cycle is always worth a look.
Congratulations
If you have any questions feel free to PM me"Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.":beer:0 -
my twins shared a cot when they were little, they are 15 now.
have a look on freecycle or car boot sales for items such as clothes etc, as they are only in them a short time anywayloves to knit and crochet for others0 -

I have twins they are amazing :T
Did you have anything for DD at relative's homes?
My oldest had a lot of things ate her grandmas and we just used her stuff+ours, ie she had an extra bouncy chair, and an extra car seat.
They are 6 now, feel free to PM if you have any questions or just want someone to tell you you'll be ok.
At the risk of controversy, I chose not to BF my twins. They were born when DD1 was 21 months and there was no way I could have coped with it. Even the MW's at the hospital said they thought I was doing the right thing, so please don't worry if you don't feel you could bf two babies at once either, you're unlikely to be told off by the hospital.
Tht said, people ( braver people than me!) do do it.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession
