So i have spent my morning tidiying up ready for them, ive done 5 loads of washing and have menu planned for the week. Ive also shopped for the extras i needed for the week, just $30 so im really pleased :j

So saddened about Diva's passing. She was always such a postive person with a word for everyone on here. We have all missed her purple posts.

Woke up regretting the over - indulgence of Chinese New Year last night, but beginning to feel more myself. Need to get down to church as we have a huge building project beginning and I ought to meet the scaffolders on site. Will light a candle for Diva while I'm there.
Take care all of you - we really are a family on here, and try to share in each other's joys and sorrows. Today is one of the more sorrowful days I guess.

Off today as I have some audit work to do and I'm working Friday instead...which is great...until its Friday!

Peppered steak Fajitas for me and DH for dinner and Corned beef hotpot for the kids. Might make Diva's pastryless tuna quiche for lunch.

Spent some time over the weekend catching up with a couple of work colleagues you turned up of facebook - and the realisation that it has been over 6 years since I seen them was quite shocking!. Made me quite nostalgic and I have been remembering many happy times with them - seems like another lifetime!

Lets all have a great day in honour of those who can't x

    Good morning:wave:

It already feels like one of those days so I need to change my way of thinking and stop wishing my life away. Everyday is precious x

Really windy here still but very wild and quite wonderful.

I have a little bit of cleaning todo as dear cleaner is not coming until Thursday - I wish my doggies would learn to wipe their paws when they come in !! I also need to tackle the Forth Bridge which is the washing. Yesterday DS2 practiced his food practical which involved him using every piece of kitchen equipment I possess:eek::eek::eek: It took Kids Dad an hour to clear up and the dishwasher was working overtime. Yes I know he should have done it himself but Im a fussy so and so when it comes to washing up and cleaning the kitchen:o

Im planning on making some soup later - pea and ham. Im determined to start eating more healthily and less sweets. We still have lots of treats left from DS2 cookery school. He did really well and enjoyed it so it was a good christmas present.

    Hugs xx

Morning all, thoughts are with diva's family this morning after the sad news yesterday :(

I'm feeling much better this morning, off to uni soon with a carrot scone to munch on in my break, then home for more R&R and something hm frozen and easy for dinner. I was reading A Year of Slow Cooking blog for ages last night and I'm itching to try more SC recipes, but need to use up my hm batch food first.
My parents luggage has been found :j it will be shipped to them the day before they leave!

I have been laid up in bed for a couple of days and had such a shock when I signed in this morning. What terribly sad news about Diva - I will really miss her cheerful start to the day.

My thoughts are with Diva's family this morning.

Back to work today, OH has a day off so he is on puppy watching duties today.

Just had some rice krispies i'm trying to eat breakfast this week to see if it aids my weightloss.
Lunch is a pasta snack and lots of fruit. Dinner is the burgers we were supposed to have on saturday AND sunday :o

Very blustery day here today, need to wash the last couple of loads of clothes and give the house another once round.
