VIRGIN BROADBAND: new deal £9.99 Inc eve/w/e phone calls

Am I right in assuming that if I were to get the 1Mb package deal it might be more stable than the 8Mb one? Having read all the discontent Virgin users on some of the review forums I had decided not to touch Virgin with a barge pole. However, I'd like to keep an open mind if there appears to be a work around.

Last thing I need is an ISP that doesn't live up to its promises - I've had enough of that with V21/Bis*it!

Current views from existing £9.99 1Mb Virgin members would be much appreciated.

In our village we've only recently been able to get broadband. My computer seems to take a while to synchronise but then, apart from occasional disconnections, stays on all day. i would still like to know the best course to take with phone calls , presumably divert to 18185 during the day/

Don't know how the Phone Co-op works but I presume that if you were able to use a phone prefix before, then you can still use them. Virgin don't take over the line rental so my guess is that it can stay as it is with the Co-op.

If anyone reading this thread already has a Virgin Bundle package deal, perhaps you could enlighten us on the set up?
