Back again. I am going to put a daily list on here as well as I'd like to keep the clutter etc down to a minimum so here goes.

    Dailies

    Wash dishes & put away x 3
    Sweep kitchen floor x 3
Do one load of laundry & put away
    S&S kitchen
    S&S bathroom
    Make beds
    Hoover living room
    Deal with post

I think that should be enough to keep me going. Now we're not going to play group as DS has a cough/cold so DSis & DNiece are coming over to talk wedding plans for DSis :jSo better get the living room done & then I can go flop:rotfl:

Question. I have 'heavy duty' cushion covers - the sort that almost certainly say 'dry clean only' (assuming I could find a label). I'm really not tooooooooo bothered about them living forever - certainly not enough to pay for dry cleaning - but do you think it's worth the risk of bunging them in the WM? If so do you reckon I can risk 40 degrees or will I have to stick to 30 degrees? Any advice or suggestions appreciated

I would bung them in on a silk/wool wash and keep my fingers crossed! The only things I dry clean are the quilts as they are too large for the washing machine HTH

Right who's up for the first HHC of the day at 9.15?

  • I'll join you all for 9.15 HHC - just in time! Have done most of the tasks in the living room (only used at night) so will use the half hour to whizz round the hallway where we spend most of our time in the day.
