Well I saw the thing coming out of the sky
It had one long horn and one big eye
I commenced to shakin' and I said oo-wee
It looks like a purple people eater to me
It was a one-eyed one-horned flying purple people eater
Sure looks good to me

Well, he came down to earth and he lit in a tree
I said mr Purple People Eater don't eat me
I heard him say in a voice so gruff
I wouldn't eat you 'cos you're too tough

It sure looks strange to me

I said mr Purple People Eater what's your line
He said eating purple people and it sure is fine

Just posting quickly to say that I'm in this week and trying for minimum of 1 HHC every day, decluttering and/or cleaning my way from dot to dot.

I will also light a candle tomorrow.

Hi all

After serious words from DH this weekend (aka Miserable Old Git...!) I think I really need to have a go at joining in with you, if thats OK .... ! I start things with such good intentions but never manage to keep to them but I PROMISE to really try with this !
Most likely I wont be able to do all the things listed as I sadly, and embarrasingly, have to admit that our home is just mega untidy (kind of like a bomb has hit it !) and most rooms need a MASSIVE sort out/declutter/tidy up and clean before I can even start at the basics ... anyways I will do what I can and have to make a start somewhere I guess, if I dont start I am never going to get anywhere....

Sorry for the waffle, and thanks for letting me join in. I had come across MSD before when lurking on the OS daily thread and she did seem such a lovely person so she will be included in my thoughts today and I will light a candle for her later...

My plans , from the list today follow, have quite a busy day (dog walking, part time job, afternoon meeting a friend at the garden centre for something to eat).

Monday ~ Living room/family room or other reception room!
Level One
Declutter and vacuum the floors!
Wear something purple light a candle and remember Diva and other people we no longer have with us but carry forever in our hearts
Level Two
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move!
Dust and deweb..
Level Three
Polish glass, mirrors and pictures
Fill a binbag of clutter and fling it
Extras

1. Wash any soft furnishings that are ickified
2. If you are able/weather permitting go do your necessary garden jobs - will sort through my seeds.

Morning all.

I lit a candle for Diva last night but will def light another one today. It was a purple scented one - I might burn a purple wax tart later too for good measure.

I'm at home today so I too pledge to finish today's list.

Today is work, get home, walk dog, make tea, go for run get back shower and have tea, read one article and complete mon list

2. Wash any soft furnishings that are ickified
3. Clean out a cupboard.. any cupboard
4. If you are able/weather permitting go do your necessary garden jobs.
