  • Im in again this week but will be mostly lurking. Not in a very good frame of mind and seem to be wallowing in self pity. Doesnt help that its my wedding anniversary on Wednesday and my ex is out enjoying life and im sat here bloody miserable. Doesnt help that he wont divorce me, doesnt pay me maintenance, doesnt work, doesnt bother with his kids from one week to the next but has taken on a new daddy role with someone elses. Grrrrrrrr.

    OK rant over im off to boot the black dog up the asre and get some cleaning done.

  • right ive done my morning dailies bathed DS2 and DD, living room not too bad so will do a HHC on it when DS2 has nap this afternoon, wearing something purple for diva even though i didnt know her she obviously ment alot to the people on here. DD got docs appointment at 11, not looking forward to going out in that wind though

    I also need to do some serious kitchen as I'm up late (DH took himself to the station and left me to sleep, bless him) and went to make a coffee and found NO TEASPOONS!! :eek:

    Lounge has gained 2 hotspots. grrrrr!
    But I'm with you guys for Purple Monday I've got some "angel flame" candles that are white but the flame burns purple. :T

    Wear something purple light a candle and remember Diva and other people we no longer have with us but carry forever in our hearts
    Level Two
    Vacuum under furniture you can safely move!
    Dust and deweb.. check those smoke alarms
    Straighten a bookcase
    Level Three
    Polish glass, mirrors and pictures
    Wipe and water the plants
    Fill a binbag of clutter and fling it
    Extras
    1. 15mins. filing
    2. Wash any soft furnishings that are ickified
    3. Clean out a cupboard.. any cupboard
    4. If you are able/weather permitting go do your necessary garden jobs.
    Right what shall I have for breakfast?
    And has anyone ever done baked cauliflower? DH dont like it and I got a whole one - Might see if I can do something he might eat (And I'm awkward I dont eat cheese :p )

    Okay,okay-I'm back.Such sad news about Diva-she and her family are in our thoughts.

    Ive been following flylady on facebook,but after a very disruptive last week with both the boys ill and I cake gone out on Saturday...Im definitely stuck in CHAOS.

    So thanks for the list Pigpen-nice gentle start considering the lounge has sort of been looked at already this morning:

    Update after HHC, am having another HHC at 10 if anyone wants to join in, need to hoover the rug and wash the LR & hall floors

    I knew about your prowess in the garden ;) but didn;t know that you burn pies, too :p

    LOL my talents are wide and ranging :p

    Well so far major floor clearance has taken place, can almost see the carpet under the sea of lego :rotfl: WM and TD swapped over and both back on. Wax rescued from old tea lights for recycling. Recycling put out. So all in all a good start.

    Going to have a qucik :coffee: and then join macpep at 10

  • HHC done, now time for a cuppa and a to do list update

    Laundry removed to kitchen
    Clean laundry removed from airer
    Highchair removed to kitchen
    Baby toys stowed away
    Heap of too small baby clothes bagged and removed to bedroom for packing
    Rubbish removed to wheelie bin
    Light fittings and door frames attacked by feather duster
    Desk decluttered and wiped
    Shoes/doormat etc removed from floor for hoovering when the wee one wakes up
    Bathroom S&S

    I have hung up more wet washing and refilled the machine.
    Put more dry laundry in the ironing basket
    Have cleaned the patio doors in the living room
    Polished TV and unit/pictures etc
    Have started filling a binbag...am off to attack the drawer in the bottom of the coffee table and see what else I can fill it with...:D
