I am so confused
Yes, gut feeling was that the Organix would be OK. I was going to go for that but the delivery price put me off in Amazon!
Has anyone seen the Fat Hair- I can't get a list of ingredients up online, it says it's sulphate free but doesn't mention Sodium/SLS/Sodium Chloride (confused!)
I'm a bit concerned that by not buying the "proper" recommended aftercare I may have issues if the treatment doesn't take properly, although from what I understand you can use any old shampoo but it will knock a few weeks off how long the BBD lasts so the salon *shouldn't* use that as a loophole...0 -
Well if it's of any help, I was in TK Maxx today, and by chance happened to notice they had some of the Organix products in there, for £4.99 each.
They had the lavender shampoo and conditioner, and also I think the green tea ones.0 -
Will see how long the litre I've ordered lasts me first, but will bear that in mind, thanks.0

I have got (from my v upmarket hairdresser!) the Keratin Complex smoothhing therapy Keratin colour care shampoo made by coppola. On the list of ingredients there is def sodium this that and the other but in big letters on front it says sodium chloride free and sulfate free.
This seems to be generally available at about £15 for the large 400ml bottle. I was given the matching conditioner. Its all very nice to use0 -
Thanks Moneylover - that is reassuring to know. It is Coppola I am having done. How is your hair now?0

one bit sticks up at one side and needs 'work'. Other than that beautiful. I am getting it cut on Thurs and will ask if they will do that bit again0

Just bumping up this thread - how are you getting on with the Organix and the treatment? I'm having mine next week

I had my BBD yesterday. I was very impressed with the salon and the two girls who did the treatment. They took 2 3/4 hours to do it and it seemed very thorough. They commented that I got a good deal with my hair as they used twice the amount of product as they normally do.
Have to wait until Friday afternoon to wash it. It's very straight and shiny, but that is expected as it was straightened so much. I will update after I have washed it.
I used the Osmo shampoo before the treatment and it's very nice, thick and only need to use a small amount.0 -

Good to hear.
What the full name of the shampoo that you used and where did you buy it from?

Still really liking the Organix shampoo and conditioner. About to break into my vanilla one soon which I've not yet tried.
Its been a month now since I had the treatment. I would say it is not as good as it was at the start, but as I wash my hair every day and also swim regularly, I'm not surprised.
When I had the treatment, I'd hoped it would last at least 2 months, ideally 2.5 months, I hadn't expected the 3 months+ that others get simply due to what I've said above.
However, I still don't have to apply anti frizz things to my hair once dried which is great, so that shows me how much improved it still is compared to how it was. So I'm really pleased
Good luck with yours, hope it goes well for you. I'm on the lookout for another offer with Groupon and the like. It was first week of Jan that I got the last offer so it's been a good while now, I hope they have one soon!0
